r59 n16 oil pump solenoid leak

I have a 2012 r59 base Roadster with n16 (non-turbo). Dealer says oil pump solenoid leaking. I've ordered the solenoid, but I can't find any video or print tutorials for a DIY replacement. Help? Like to get this done before the oil "weeping" causes more issues.
Thanks!

Just have the N18 info here: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...heck-it-3.html
But It takes that same part 11417647238

Here is the SI M11 01 12 with N16 and N18 engines.

Any way to get around dropping the pan? I've noticed some "wiring harness repair kits" online. Just wondering.

For that solenoid you will have to drop the pan. On 11418609973 and post #105 on that thread https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...heck-it-5.html thats the simple fix, but i don't know if that will solve your leak. Worth a shot.

Thanks very much. Most of what I'm seeing is for N18 rather than N16, but I'll see whether a "repair kit" is available. I appreciate the quick response.

Yep, i dont have data for the N16, it shows for the N18, but there is also little info on it, so its possible it could work for n16.

Hi Jim, did you ever find the repair kit? (it looks like it has been a few years)
