Does anybody remember this picture of a glowing turbo and whose is it?

I heard it was a vendor dyno testing an upgraded turbo for the R56 and might of been trying to blow it up.

Would love to know the reason why this engine set up since 2007 has the intakes at the back along the firewall, and exhaust components incl turbo at the front of the engine so all the heat is next to the radiator and hot air is forced thru and across the engine before exiting down and under the car....it defies all common sense.....

Gonna have to call Shenanigans on this one. I think it is PhotoShop!!

Look at the stud bolts and nuts holding the down pipe to the turbo. They are not glowing. Also the A/C filler cap hasn't melted nor has the rubber seal around the top of the front cover.

Also, why is the cold side intake pipe covered in shrink wrap plastic?
