My odometer just rolled over the 10.000 mile mark. I've made many changes... Suspension wise, It's just where I want it. Koni Yellows, H&R sport springs, Alta 22mm RSB, TSW X brace, and a Nuespeed strut brace. I ditched the run flats and the Mini rims, for Michelin AS Pilots and a set of BBS rims. Originally, I replaced the OEM IC, with the Alta FMIC, which has since become, the heat exchanger for a DOS W2A IC (no more turbo lag), which is being fed by the DOS CAI. I replaced the OEM re-circ valve, with a forge re-circ valve. All said, this car can yodel. Lastly, I've upgraded the coils, with Okada project coils and Okada's plasma ground. I would love to tune the ECU... But the option available, are really limited.

Short shift kit...

I put in a Craven speed SSK. I did away with the shift boot. This had a two fold effect-- It is an awesome look, and it really tightened up the shift. It took the slop right out of the shift.

Hey CR.. Im making head way on the miles..getting closer.. Im at 803miles right now.. After the very spirited drive on the great river route..which I had a heck of a time keeping the rpms down ha ha.. and of course we had a run in with a cop in the area..but he was cool.. he stopped and told us he was headed south so he would recommend us to go north ha ha.. he said he knew what we were going to do ..he dig our MINIs.. But definitely the pops and burbles are way more noticeable now.. The car is coming alive!! I did get my JCW carbon fiber spoiler installed.. driving lights coming soon too..

Prioritize!

1. 22mm rear sway bar
2. Electric bill
3. GP2 Diffuser
4. Food
5. Short shifter
6. Mortgage
7. Whatever SG talks me into next

Why? If it was necessary for the good of the motor, wouldn't BMW recommend it?
