Got my 2013, whats new?
I'd been having a slow leak for about a month before I had it checked at the dealer (no nails or abnormal wear was visible). I was give a 'recall' card to send to the manufacturer, so although I wasn't given a definitive answer, looks like it may have been 'defective'.
How's it going, everyone ? Just hit 10K miles on mine this week and still lovin' it ! Haven't posted lately, too much drama with the selling of my house and searching for land/another house. Had my house sold, had a contract on a great house. Five days before settlement, the bank informed my buyers they wouldn't approve their loan. Back on the market. Have had two offers since then, rejected both. More showing this weekend.
My son also graduated from high school a few weeks ago and now he's 9 days from going into the Air Force. Busy times ! Hope all is well with my fellow '13 Gotters !!

Great to hear from you!
Only 6,500 on mine lol.
Good luck with home sale!

Still alive and kicking in the middle of the country - 5,500 miles on the JCW. I had a brand-new 2014 BRG Justa F56 automatic for three days and almost 200 miles while the JCW was in the shop (Grrrrrrr…).
The F56 was absolutely awful to drive with the Auto Start/Stop function. The engine shudders to a stop at every stoplight, and it shudders to restart as soon as your foot comes off the brake or you move the shift lever or you move the steering wheel or you open the door or you burp. The sensation is sort of like hitting a chuckhole every time you stop or start the car. I even ventured downtown at the height of the lunch hour, just to experience extreme stop-and-go traffic. (Crawl…brake…shudder…stop...green circle on the dash…release brake...shudder...green flash on the dash...crawl…) Sure, you can shut off the Auto Start/Stop every time you start the car (It's supposed to remember the setting when you shut down the car; this didn't always work), but I'm annoyed by the idea of having to pay for something that annoys me.
If I had purchased this car, I would have driven it a block and taken it back to the dealer to report a serious drivetrain problem. As my significant other said halfway through a 10-mile ride one night (2/3 in-town and 1/3 Interstate), "Sometimes cute doesn't cut it. I would never own this car."

Other than that, just living the dream - working and hoping it stops raining for a while. (We had 6.5 inches of rain last Thursday!)

Thanks, Greg ! And good to hear from you !
I'd almost forgotten how much a pain in the *** it can be to sell a house. Let alone sell it TWICE. I lost the first contract due to the buyer cheating on his taxes. Self employed and was writing off too much of his income to qualify for his loan. Of course, the *** is causing others of us to pay more than our fair share too. I could have choked him when I found that out five days before settlement. Still could.

And man, that JCW is going to die of old age before it has 50,000 miles on it.
