2008 vs 2013 Brake light function
Ok, I got some 2008 taillights because I prefer an amber turn signal in the back compared to red, just my taste.
But first thing I noticed is connector was different, figured they just changed style, BUT nope, I got the 2008 connectors but when I start checking the operation I got confused.
2013 uses the round ring (led?) for running lights and top for brake light.
2008 appears to use same bulb for brake and running but it's a single filament bulb ? Please someone enlighten me on how they did this ? I can only assume dual voltage, 9V runninbg 12V braking ? If so I've got some 2008 tail lights to sell as I guess they won't work.
