Haven't had it 24 hours yet and I already love it. I wasn't able to load up the options due to budgetary constraints, but I'm really happy with what I did order. The JCW Interior package really seems like a great deal to me. Everything came together really nicely, I think.
Sounds like the swaybar will be the first mechanical upgrade.
Just ordered a Yakima rooftop cargo basket today. Anyone else have experience with something similar?
Welcome, and great choice with the JCW interior!! It looks fantastic in your car!!

Thank you! The 22mm seems to be the common rec around here. It'll have to wait a while so fortunately I won't miss what I don't know. I love the way it drives right now, though. Way better than a '94 Wrangler.

Only slightly
I feel like I have to relearn how to drive whenever I drive my wife's Jeep Liberty. And we've had it 5-years, I have put in some solid seat time in that vehicle.
"Not so sure I need a short shifter... I'm very satisfied with the throw on the standard stick in the JCW."
An added benefit from a SSK that I discovered is that before I put a SSK, the gear shifter would tend to hit a drink in the cup holder or my passenger's left knee lol. Sometimes, it would be my hand hitting it. But after installing the SSK, I noticed this doesn't happen anymore.

I loved the Wrangler (especially in the snow) but it's like night and day between those vehicles. Going through roundabouts every day really drives home that difference. They are way more fun now.
Other than the one morning at around 300 miles... nothing. And I'm at 650 miles now.
I think it was the 600-750mi mark that Lana started her popping and burbling. You'll get there soon enough. Mine is pretty quiet though. I cannot hear it unless I am in 1st or 2nd, or maybe 3rd with the windows down. I've never heard it in 4th or higher, so either it doesn't happen up there, or there is too much road noise for me to hear it.
I told myself yesterday I was going to go to work with Sport mode off because I didn't need it. Then a Juke pulled up next to me at a light, so I had to turn on sport mode, get in front of him, and pop all the way through the next 4 red lights.
I already heard some pops and burble before I hit 100 miles. Is that an indication that I've driven it too hard already? I haven't went over 4500 RPM or 100 MPH. It's an addicting noise.

Thank you! I'm really happy with them.
Maybe your shifter is bigger than CR's and you popped yours quicker
