Got my 2013, whats new?

Pulled out 4 quarts with my Mityvac fluid extractor for the 1st oil change. (4500 miles) Yes, I leave in the filter. I'll let the dealer mess with that. Filled with 0W40 Mobil 1. I swear the engine is more quiet now... Much more quiet at idle.. Drove 150 miles to the NJ shore today with the fam through the NJ pines. Stopped for ice cream on the way home. Such a great day.

Blackfire:
I put it on by hand in the evening in the garage and removed it with a microfiber cloth the next day. Soooooo easy it was pathetic. Went on smooth and taking it off was effortless--I'm into trying not to sweat.
I only washed the car before I started (no clay, although it probably would've shined up a little better)... I use Mequiars Quick Detail between polishings.
No pics as the Pepper White doesn't really shine that much in photos as it does in real life. I've had comments on how shiny it looks...better than when I took delivery!

Agreed...I have about 6-7 coats of Zaino on my Pepper White/Black Clubman, and I am surprised as how well it shines up and the depth it actually shows.
Man CR and Supergreg have been quite lately! Since getting back from California I've done quite a bit of modding
GP2 bellypan is on it's way here along with a DDM RIS. I installed my Oil temp and Boost gauge in a few days ago, along with a BSH OCC. Winter will be here shortly and snow tires will be the next modification I guess:(

Mine's been sitting on my garage floor for two-and-a-half weeks, awaiting the arrival of the mounting clips from BMW/MINI's broken f$~%!@# parts network. The three different types of clips you need to attach the under tray to the front trim, fender liners and chassis are not included; you have to order them separately. The quick-release screws you need are all attached to the under tray, but you still need one more screw to attach the tray to the front trim on the driver's side.
This has been a big, steaming pile of frustration for a cool mod that will take all of 10 minutes to install!

wow, I'm jealous, and fantastic pic!!
Did you stop at the Biltmore in Asheville? I was down there a couple of weeks ago...what a fantastic place..
Yea we stopped there and took the audio tour. Fun and interesting place to visit. Also took a bike ride through one of their trails and had lunch at the Bistro.
Very
Did my break in oil change too at 1,200 miles! I can't believe this car spools all the way up to 21 psi!!!
Hopefully my tray comes with all necessary hardware as listed in the description! I need that pan to help keep my engine bay clean/protected. Also my oil temp gauge is getting effected by the cool draft of air when I'm on the highway:(

You know how you feel after sitting too long and then you finally get to stand up and stretch ? That's how the my JCW must feel now.
He sure takes on the higher RPMs with ease and man, I row through all six gears in what seems like a blink of an eye. What a machiine the JCW is !

How've you been doing, SG ? Any more changes to the JCW or your garage ??

Thank you sir. I really need a change of scene and a detoxifying health rejuvenation. Oh, and being next to the ocean helps
I think it really hit me for the first time today just how fast my JCW is.
Heading up one of the mountains on my evening commute. I-70, speed limit 65. Two lanes turns to three lanes going up the mountain. Semi tractor-trailer in the center lane, didn't move to the right lane like a smart truck driver would. Left lane lollygaggers lined up like lemmings in the fast lane. Right lane wide open. Dropped it down into fourth gear while doing about 55 and gave it a firm but not overdone step on the accelerator. I looked in the rear view mirror couldn't have been more than about 10 seconds later and that tractor trailer was so far behind me, I thought it was a different one. But nope.... same one. Seriously smooth acceleration too, handles the 5-6000 RPM range with ease. What a pleasure to drive the little beast.

We simply have the S but I still know what you're talking about.
Acceleration on these engines are so smooth you don't realize how fast you are until you get that short moment of loneliness on the road
