installed my new mats today. Makes me want to drive barefoot.. the fit for R53 is 9/10, much better than the weathertech I'm replacing.

Good thing you bought one. I myself cant believe how nice the liners are. Hopefully the other guys who got interested will have the same reaction when they receive theirs.

Just dropped off S-lites rims to get refinished with hyper silver paint. Hopefully it turns out okay. I saw some porsche rims that where refinished the same color at the shop and cant wait on how the R85 rim will come out. I am also putting 215-45s on as well.

You guys have some gorgeous MINI's on here. I've been feeling glum about my slowpoke NA Countryman, So I decided to do the next best thing and just dress it up with interior/exterior accessories.
I put a JCW type decal on it last night, very happy with it. Fake it till you make it is the new motto. haha

ordered from aliexpress website

A center stripe is a legit way to spruce up a "Justa", S, or JCW. Nothing fake about your setup. Looks good! Don't stick a JCW badge on, thats just tacky.

Changed the drivers front hub. No luck with all my lights. Going to have to get in and pull the inner guard off and see WTF is happening with the sensor wiring. Will also pull out the washer bottle and silicone up the leak in that.

New low speed fan resistor burned out. I decided to put the new one on an old PC heatsink and fan just because I have heaps of them lying around.

Just stuck in next to the brake master cylinder at the moment. Will make a mount when I figure out a nice spot for it. Also noticed all my sealing foam for the radiator has perished. Going to find something to sort all that too.

Black it out and the belt line too. If you do this you need to do the hatch lift as well. Been there......

Just replaced both driver and passenger sun visors as the cover holding the vanity mirror cover broke. Apparently the new design of the visors have a steel pin and a more robust plastic cover which I think will not fail over time. The previous design of the cover was just all plastic which wore out over time and will just fall off from repeated opening.

Installed a GP2 under tray this afternoon. Haven't had a chance to run the car with it yet, but looking forward to opening it up on the highway tomorrow.

Finished swapping in a new head yesterday. Towed it to the dealership today to diagnose the no start issue.
