Thanks guys.
I did not have to change anything with the hood. The lights do not actually weigh that much and are only a fraction of the weight of the hood itself.

What MINI dealership did the last coolant service?
Stripes

Please post some pix when you have them installed. Are you applying stripes yourself or having a shop do it? If you are doing it, please post some advice/pix if you can.

Will do. I am installing myself. Ive done some vinyl wrap of small stuff so what the heck. I have been wrenching a long time on a lot harder things, I think.

Replaced the crank position sensor seal (without putting it in service access mode), and made a video for my sister to show her a less time-consuming way to replace the horn on her R53.
Cleaned and washed the Blue Meanie yesterday. sadly, no other MINI's were at the Cars and Coffee this morning! I parked in the German row though with lots of BMW's. My son parked in the Miata lane, but only a few...strange. Lots of newer cameroes and WRX's. Weird. The only classics was a really nice '68 VW Bus and a 67 Caprice rat-rod with bags. Hum? Oh well, next time.
Today I stripped the ECS Tuning strut plates, the cabrio braces, MSD ignition, spark plug wires off the car and installed the OEM parts in its place. I also installed a new coolant expansion tank and added new coolant. After doing all that I lowered the price for the MINI on CL and am hoping to sell soon. I am also selling some of those and other aftermarket parts if anyone is interested.
Very nice, one of my favorite wheels next to the BBS LMs.

Thanks... bbs rc's from one of vws are my favorite but those wheels are extinct in 4x100 so I got these instead. Maybe some day

Nothing too special for mine otherwise, just a quick wash, clay and wax. Also figured I'd bust out the real camera, since all the pics I had until now were crappy cell phone pics.

Nice wheels! How noticeable are the markings between the lugnuts on the RGR's? From the pic at the Tire Rack, it looks like BBS put the size, offset, and the model number on the face of the rim by the center cap.
