Had the MINI DRLs installed today. It took very little time and well worth it.

Beautiful - went through that link. Lots to like about that MINI of yours, but the exhaust is tight. If only an Akro exhaust with a CF tip existed for my non-S... A man can dream.

Go to 15's in STX.., No need to waste your time with a 17" rim.

The difference in the feel of the car is night and day versus the stock "S-Lite" wheels. I'm on 205/50/16 Continental DW tires but haven't messed with them much yet, still have to scrub them in. The total weight loss going from S-Lites with stock run-flats to these wheels and tires is 62lbs. Everything feels better and easier, even my gas mileage is better by a little. The ride is a little better now with the taller sidewall as well. The wheels are 16x6.5 +44 so the stance isn't exactly what kids think is cool nowadays, haha, and the tires are a little ballooned, but it's not bad, I really like it.

I need coilovers now for sure, probably going to order Megan Euro coils along with adjustable rear LCA's next month.

Nice

What color code did you use?

Krylon "Cherry Red" so nothing really special. I just wanted a slightly darker red, so I picked the darker of the two reds they had at the store.

Uploaded the Battle/DNA stage1 tune - very very pleased. Still need to try the aggressive linear map he sent, but so far best mod yet.

Took the mini to the audio shop, had two Rockford power series 10s with a Rockford amp wired up. It sounds pretty sweet. I have an appointment for the hertz mids and highs with 4 channel amp wednesday.

Hey does anyone use a smart start ? I was told it's an extra 400 in labor due to my car being a 5 speed.

Sorry for grammar mistakes I did this on the go.

Seems like overkill for a mini stereo!

Installed a new ignition coil to cylinder #3 and cleared the misfire codes from the car's computer. Ran to the store without the worrisome check engine light staring me in the face. Big sigh of relief.

Hard wired a new Passport Max w/Live. Used a Blendmount which I thought was a little pricey but it's a nice piece.
