A couple of weeks ago I did the audio channel swap mod and today I installed a DDMWorks CAI in my 2012 MINI Cooper. Man does she growl now. It really adds a nice tone to the engine without the expense of an exhaust upgrade. Between this and the sprintbooster I have she's pretty quick. Of course not as fast as an S (I've never driven one) but on club drives through the twisties I have no trouble keeping up. I really love my MINI.

 

I installed my new DuelL AG carbon fiber GT Wing and vented C-Pillar covers.

 

Threw on my new Breytons! She's lookin good!

 

Finally ditched the RF tires with Michelin PSS with 215/45/17 with car lowered on NM springs. Doesn't seem to be rubbing so far! Can definitely feel a change when turning, feels like the I'm on a cloud compared to the RFs.

 

Very cool looking wing. Got a side view or the entire car with it? Would love to see.

It definitely has more style to it. Unfortunately, it cost to have style. Now, I just need to sell my M7 carbon fiber C-Wing.

Monday, the car goes into the body shop to have my new DuelL AG body kit installed along with the new DuelL AG Krone exhaust system, rear carbon fiber diffuser, and side carbon fiber diffusers. By the end of next week, it will be a different looking car.

 

Sweet. That's some big time coin for sure. Looking forward to the pics!

 

Dipped my front grille to see if I'll like an aero grille, think I'm buying an aero grille soon Also refinished the headlights.

De-crudded and painted the previously-blue 25mm H-sport swaybar I found... installing this evening...

Now, what color? (the base/de-rusting / primer / silver basecoat is already done). Recognizing that only the ends are visible, and barely so, here are the spare spray cans in my arsenal, and the car is astro black/silver on silver BBS RK's:

- Metalflake Orange (From son's high-school shop project)
- Anodized Red (from a Cub Scout project)
- Engine Enamel Red (ancient, probably solidified in the can)
- Ford Engine Blue (ditto)
- High-fashion lime green (leftover from patio furniture refinishing)
- assorted beiges
- copper metalflake
- plain ol' red

I'm leaning ano red...
