My MA was very explicit when I picked up Fenimore: "This is the only way you can lock your keys in the car! So remember never to put your keys down in the boot!"
Now, you tell me............I did not get that info passed to me during this the purchasing process. But trust me, I KNOW IT NOW!!!!!
Thanks!
I can't see your signature if you got one, what year is your MINI and what mods?
Huh, I wonder why it's not showing up. I can see my own sig 0.o All bolt ons! ;p

I'm on my phone that's why lol, but awesome man! Just wish he could do my N18 MCS:-/.
Enjoy the ride, I will probably PM you in a couple weeks to ask you how you love it;-).

Ah got ya. Probably saw the turbo run out of steam, power started to drop, and decided not to push it any harder. Peak numbers are peak numbers, it doesn't mean they are going to get better just by throwing more RPM at it... And your Torque graph shows all I need to see! Great job, you are going to be very happy with the result. :D
Holla! Do you have the rest of the kit or is it just the back? I was thinking of hooking up a JCW Cooper bumper like that with a custom exhaust on my S. I might do it for the simple fact I am going to be doing the JCW because my side skirt is mangled from falling off the jack.
I have the JCW front bumper - but my last body shop ordered the wrong side skirts - I have factory aero side skirts, which I have to admit work pretty well once we addressed the wheel arches.
And a lot cheaper!

I thought I could take a look on my way out, but had an urge to snap a shot driving by. Sure enough, she was gone by the time I got out from service department. I guess her majesty is getting prepped to take off as we speak.
Got the royal treatment at Tyrol Sport. I finally got my Helix I/C installed along with an Alta hot side boost tube, Alta turbo inlet hard pipe, and Powerflex lower engine mount bushing.
What a great bunch of guys!!!

Got front wheel arches replaced under warranty due to cosmoline stain they had.
I noticed that the new arches got small "cutout" where cosmoline would drip on to which my original parts didn't have. I checked the new coupé sitting nearby and it had same cut out so I guess MINI changed the parts between 2011 and 2013 to address this issue.
Thankfully the rest of black plastic trims weren't really faded in 2 years, and after a quick sweep of Black Wow (I had it on other trims), new parts were indistinguishable.

Noted this is the 10,000 reply on this thread!!!!
made a custom plate holder for the tow-hook. + installed drilled/slotted EBC rotors.
cost: $6.99
I used a 6" C clamp made by Pittsburg which is the brand from Harbor Freight.
Cut it with a hack saw. drilled a pilot hole and tapped new threads in the end of it for a 5mm hex head metric bolt.
I used stainless steel scrap from my fathers HVAC shop and threw a quick CADD design in the plasma cutter. Bent over the edges and filed down the corners.
then added some random bolts from around my garage. viola!
