In lieu of this beautiful weather, I opened up the sunroof and went for a drive..

Still have the snow tires on, so I found a few dirt roads too >

You should've come over this way... some good muddy roads.

Haha! I'll be headed through on Tuesday. Got half way there...(if you don't count me being way too far south)... before I turned back for the day, ended up around Grafton Lake.

Yeah that would be a little south... that may be a nice area for some upcoming meets though.

Not white, just the stock aluminum alloy color with MiniMania in black in the middle of the bar. I'm sure someone makes a white one or you would always paint it.
Check different ones and prices. I think this one was like $200. A lot for a bar. It was my 1st mod so I didn't look around much.

Finally ordered my first under the hood mod today!

For the year I've had my Mini, been dressing her up on the outside, checkered mirror caps, side angled MINI stripes, checkered sunroof graphic

Excited to see what the DDMWorks Cold Air Intake does for my Mini's performance

So you went for the LOUD! Way to go! I’m convinced that NAM is responsible for my bank account being lighter by 2K. At least 2K...

I'm with Albiecrazy, this site has drained me of a couple grand as well.
Fun but expensive. Hopefully, all that I've installed will last a good while.
Got $2200 of stuff sitting in my office waiting to be installed.

Albie, just emailed you pic of Giggles with her current swag. Can you post it to this thread for me, when convenient? Appreciate!

Hah! Awesome! Thanks!

I really haven't changed much of anything from stock, mind if I ask what did it for you?

Simplicity - Less is more
The color scheme is perfect I think. I'm a big fan of green and matched with the white roof, black lip, dark tint, and just the right amount of chrome pieces gives it a very nice touch.

I had my scheduled brake fluid "exchange" done this morning and also had them check everything out before I go installing my coils... they found a leaking motor mount and a leaking crank sensor o-ring, not too bad. I'll replace the motor mount before installing the coils and will probably do the o-ring once I get my pulley installed.

Looks good. Where did you get the R56? Did you just use stick on letters and numbers?

Thanks, This was really easy to do with a strong hair dryer to heat up the glue and some fishing line. Just be sure to mark everything so its straight if you replace it with something else. These were just letters and numbers from a local auto store.I had been thinking about it for awhile, and finally did it.

Thanks, This was a really easy Mod. All you need is a strong hair dryer to heat up the glue and some fishing line to remove the stock badge. Just make sure you mark where everything is so its straight if you replace it with something else. The letters and numbers were picked up at a local auto store. Been thinking about doing this for awhile and finally did it.

O and yes the letters for R56 were from a local Auto store. Very easy install ,but I like it. Sometimes I get the itch to do something so its nice to have little things to change while I wait for the big stuff. LOL
