I'm sorry, I didn't mean anything negative about it. Did not mean to offend anybody, actually. I really am just saying it's special. As in one-of-a-kind. I love Mr. Bean, too.

With only a 120 miles on the ODO, I installed PIAA H13 Extreme Bulbs, awesome difference over the OE bulb- VIP's DP back SS exhaust system, NM short shifter w/ cover box, SAMCO Sport 5 piece silicone turbo hose kit, and lastly, Craven's shorty antenna....

My brother was born with Spinal Meningitis. It left him partially blind mostly deaf and mostly deaf. He had the mental capacity of a non-speaking 3 year old at 8. He was a beautiful, sweet child. Unfortunately he passed due to the negligence of his schoolteacher. I applaud you for doing this for him. You are truly wonderful people in my opinion. BTW, I think it is an awesome ride. My wife caught a glimpse of the picture and said that the bonnet is amazing. Keep up the good work.

Thanks, I have always wanted one. Got it at Autoplates.com. They did it faster than the website said, I had it in under a week from ordering and that is with USPS shipping on a week with a Federal holiday. I am extremely pleased. They threw in the German (registration?) stickers for free.

Sweet I might need to keep them in mind for my next one.

The last couple times I got them from here > http://www.licenseplates.tv/ Quality is great, turn around is quick, price is ok, and they where the only ones I could find with a COLORADO (Among other states) version of a euro plate.

Let me know if you have any questions.

On topic? Today I gave the mini the day off. He deserved a break from windy, rainy yuck.

Replaced the silly plastic chromed rings on my keys with metal ones! Just wish the previous owner didn't use so much gorilla glue to keep the "meh" ones on! Took about an hour per key just to remove the old one (even had to do sanding...eek).

My keys look a bit sexier now!

Can you show me what they look like now? And where did you get the metal rings?

Thanks!

OEM. Your dealer can sell them to you or you can find them online. Be forewarned, you'll get sticker shock!

If they're the same price I paid almost a year ago, $24 ea from Morristown Mini.

EDIT: $21 at ECS Tuning. Pic at this link too:

Oooo...mine is starting to have the chrome rub off the plastic after two years. The dealership already replaced it once because I dropped it a few too many times and had pit marks all over it.

Bought mine from ECS Tuning. They had to special order them and I waited patiently while they waited to receive them and then ship them off to me so don't expect an immediate turn around.

As far as the rings themselves, they are OEM. The only difference is that now they aren't plastic cheapo rings that wear, crack and break easily since they are now made out of metal.
