I was told that a flash drive with music on it does not work. Is there a "trick" to doing it or can I just plug it in? And does it access just like when I plug my Ipod into it?

 

It reads the directories for music files, I use a super generic 1gb one in mine and it works fine.

I made a checkered style design on my dashboard using stick on vinyl (from rvinyl.com)....it was very easy and cheap project to do. Took me only 10 minutes and you can cut the vinyl any size...any color.

I got Max's back three windows tinted. Looks great. Also switched out the antenna for a short stubby one. We Motored over to the MINI dealer and checked out the MINI Rocks the Rivals event. Lots of fun, free MINI T-Shirt, and some great Kiss music.

 

I installed my B&M Short Shifter kit that arrived on yesterday. I got hung up on the rear exhaust hangers as well as the shift cables, but I finally got it all done and I absolutely love the mod. 1st to 2nd is no longer this sloppy mess. Everything is smooth and tight, as well as significantly shorter. 4th gear to 5th gear is a bit odd (feels like I am downshifting to 3rd - there's no real move to the right that I can feel) but other than that it's all good. Just need to save up some cash for a Whalen **** :daydream:...

rear seat delete and new spoiler ordered. went to a meet last night in remembrance to a fellow car enthusiast who passed away. oil change. wash and wax. busy 2 days

 

Actually last night: ordered the 17% pulley package from WMW!

 

I scrubbed pine tree... "sap" as they politely call it off my car today, gave it another bath... now it's gonna rain all next week to make sure there's no more pine pitch or pollen on it.
I also cleaned/detailed the interior a bit.

 

Didn't do much with it (a 2008 clubman s)today, but this month I had the timing chain replaced and ditched the run flat tires. Its like I got a new car.

 

Maraschino was driven 700 miles from Houston to El Paso today. Then I got to drive him for the first time.

And it was great.

 

Had the coolant flushed and new fluid put in.

 

I couldn't sleep..
