ROFL someone else had the same problem and cashed in I see.

Now I have to see what the HOA reaction is to that because I don't know if I want to get in and out each time I want to go somewhere

Or you can always approach and depart your driveway at an angle. There is a place like that near where I work. It's an angle for everything when I get there.

Reason #512 while I will never live in an area that has an association......I never want to take something this simple to committee to get their approval

Yea but in the winter, the snow thaws and freezes down the driveway, so you need to get up it at a good clip, which means my bumper suffers. The angle is good in the summer, but i'm afraid of losing the bumper or the muffler in the winter

I'd think the HOA would have a hard time from keeping you from getting your car in the driveway. You could go at it the 'neck way and do it with twobafours

Also have you tried entering/exiting at an angle? Sometimes this helps with that problem.

Nevermind, I see someone already suggested the angle. Got distracted and forgot to press "Post".

BTW: Nice Clubman!

Nice clubbie! You'll soon learn to approach any elevation change at an angle. I can actually back up on my parents' porch, which is a good 4-5" straight up, so you can definately go back over bigger bumps that you can go foward over. Of course then you have to remember to go out at an angle.

Problem solved, please view this video for a solution. The clubman has enough room for an airtank and batteries
