Bose is making Suspensions!

Hey guys check this out? How do you think a MINI would be like if these suspensions were installed?

Leave it to Bose to make a suspension system to eliminate the highs and lows of the road surface.

Bet it sounds good, too. (looks a little bulky, tho. don't need the added weight)

can a sway bar really do that for you? as far i'm concerned the mini already almost drives like it has the bose suspensions around the corners.

That's because you MINI DOES have (anti)sway bars already... the test vehicle doesn't.

The sway bars are also what makes the "sports car" in their test videos bounce like heck on the bump tests - because it ties the right and left suspension together, so they more or less as a single unit - that's the downside of sway bars, and what the Bose active suspension approach should do better...

Stiff suspension with sway bars = great in corners, crappy over bumps
Independent suspension, no sway bars = soft over bumps, crappy in corners
