I just added the one at the bottom of the first post to your sig. Currently that's the only one available.

I'm all ready to bat for the team at tomorrows Autocross! Here are my "unofficial" graphics that I cut myself with my mini vinyl cutter, just finished last night.

My helmet (which i ordered a week ago) still hasn't arrived for this sunday's autocross. Looks like I'm borrowing my friend's spare helmet again

Definitely gonna go out again tomorrow morning to represent for Justacooper. Hopefully the track has less straights this time

I hear yeah.

I'm hoping this autocross has a slalom. The last one the L.A. chapter put on didn't have one, and the MINI is just so good in the transitions, it really wants a slalom.

The mail just came

I'm straightening them out now from being rolled up during shipping.

As you can see from the picture, I actually have 3 instead of 2. So if anyone wants to buy the third one off of me, drop me a PM.

Those are cool! If I autocrossed on a more regular basis, I'd call dibs.

I'm also diggin' your vintage stove -- looks like a late 40s/early 50s O'Keefe & Merritt.

Good luck tomorrow!

Yeah, my only thought on that is that it might work on the hood (I think it's too tall to fit on the hatch) OR I may consider getting three more made up so that I could sell two pairs.

I'll take some pictures of them on the car tomorrow.

cool

Any reccomendations on magnetic numbers?

I thought these would be nice: http://www.rallydecals.com/catalog/p...c938245add0e9e

Do you think its a good idea to pick a set of these up? I plan on doing atleast 4-7 more autocrosses before fall...and that price is pretty nice

Update on our L.A. BMWCCA Autocross held on Sunday.

We had 4 MC and 11 or 12 MCS in two different classes (4 cylinder BMW stock and 4 cylinder BMW mod).

I don't have the official times, but here was the placing for the awards

A class (including MC)
1) Dave in a MC - 63.4
2) Jerry (goaljnky) in a MCc - 63.6
3) a BMW at 66 and change

B class (including the MCS)

1) Rory - MCS (in the 57's as I recall)
2) Matt from Mininuts - MCS (in the 59's as I recall)
3) an EB/W MCS driven by an employee of h-sport (I forget his name, my apologies) - In the 61's

From the times discussed at the event, I would think that the final results will show Jerry and I finishing ahead of the remaining 8 or 9 MCS's.

Our L.A. BMWCCA was impressed with the MINI turnout at this event and at the past event, so they have decided to make a MINI class for future events (all the MINIs lumped into one class... regardless of mods ). I suppose that is a good thing in the big picture, but it will mean the MC's will have to be a little cleaner and fight a little harder.

I believe the MC is capable of being competitive for the trophies in an all MINI class, just maybe not for the very top place (there is one very well driven MCS on racing slicks that is competitive for the overall top time of day that is going to be very hard to beat in a MC... at least that's my opinion).

I'll try to post up some pictures tonight from the event.

That does look like a good price. Probably better than a local sign shop could give you, because they usually have a minimum charge to do the work (my experience anyway). If you wanted to go with a custom designed number plate though, I would talk to a sign shop (something like sign-a-rama) as they can do nice work with vinyl on magnetics for not too much more than the pricing in your link.

hey boys, can i join team justacooper? been reading the site for some time, but only now just got around to registering and posting (learned most of what i wanted to know from using the search option). I would also like to say that i can well represent team justacooper, i went out on a mini adventure a week ago, out of 5 coopers (and a vet and ferrarri for that matter) i had the only non s there, and one of them wanted to know what i had done to my car cause it was running fast (i even had time to do a three point turn and wait for them to arrive after we finished one stretch of twisties i was leading them threw), so i dont think iwill let yous down!

thanks Beecher
