I tell you. I am looking forward to the 18th. If I put down a good enough time during the day, I will switch to Little Eggs ride for the last timed runs. Either way, with the way the turn out looks right now and the NUTS representig it will be a blast.

For transmissions and mileage, I'm on my 3rd transmission (Midlands - all failures due to the cold weather seal issue) and have 95,000 miles - I'm not as worried about hurting the transmission on the track as I am that the coming winter will be cold.

The "justacooper" should be delivered Tuesday. I like the improved driver idea and will shoot for local police driving school this year.

And, this year, I'm campaigning in class E against highly modded e36 M3's (all running GC/Koni setups, camber plates or similar) and e30 M3's and M Coupes and Roadsters...

Hopefully I'll be able to pull off a good showing on Sunday. We have 20 MINIs showing up for an L.A. autocross - 5 MC and 15 MCS.

 

Yup... Leading the class to date! Might change as we move back to our normal venue, Mineral Wells, which is HUGE and tends to have more hp-type courses. Although, even there the Cooper is VERY competitive. But, we shall see!

 

I'll bite - but i would respecfully submit a request to be voted on that we not Humble ourselves by Labeling ourselves as *JustCoopers* cause they arent *Just* Coopers

I hope the JustACooper is somewhat tounge-in-cheek, Like when Scott goes up against an M3 and cleans it's clock. Owner says "what was that?" Answer, "JustACooper" . . .
