Let me in on this one please! My mid-02 MC has gone through so many mods that it's hard to think of him as justa anything, but most of that is under the skin. Great club idea - best yet!!!!

The part that says "part of the responsibility each member has in joining Team Justacooper will be to advance their own driver education so that they can become the driver in the 115 hp MC that goes toe-to-toe with the MCS owners and shows off just how good the MC can be on the track or in autocross."

Can't believe I hadn't noticed this thread.
Aside from the auto-x coming up on Fathers Day that I can't participate in (unless I sneak off to spectate later in day), I'd like to commit to advancing my driving skills.
Still . . . my '03 Cooper has over 87K (and on its 3rd tranny) so I may need to be careful.

Oh come on, you're a good hard working father, you deserve to celebrate Fathers Day by having your family watch you AutoX! That's my excuse anyways.

At what mileage did you get your 3rd tranny? I'm on my 2nd, and just hit 60,000 miles. Really not looking forward to a 3rd tranny at all.

Well, I've been debating hard about getting an S. Today, with a nice cool morning, I remembered how much I love my Cooper when the weather cools down. Also last weekend I went up to Monterey with 20 other MINI's, and the 3 fastest drivers were me and two MCS's. It sure is nice hanging with the modded MCS's in my little old Coopa!
