This a factory JCW? Looking for Toronto test drive.
IMO, that has to be the ugliest MINI I've seen. Did the dealer do all that to it? It almost looks like someone ordered it that way and decided against it when it showed up on the lot. Luckily it's a fairly easy fix to get rid of the red fenders and trim. You could paint them pepper white or black or get the normal plastic ones.
It looks to be a factory JCW though. It has the badges in the right places, plus the extra ones. There aren't supposed to be any badges in the engine bay. If you could get the VIN number you would be able to tell for sure.
I know that MSRP is in CDN, but that's a crazy price!

Thanks for the photo. I was toying with the idea of having my scoop painted CR to match the roof and mirrors of my '11 Factory JCW Hatchback. That picture sold me--the scoop will remain Pepper White. I want a little more CR and don't want stripes. Latest idea is to have the lower brake intakes painted CR. Thanks phinzup for the idea.

Curious why the listing does NOT mention the JCW option. It does have the right scuttles, badges, sill covers, etc. but there's something weird here in my opinion.
The plate says: BUDDS JCW. Personally somebody ought to kick BUDDS azz for doing this to a MINI...

Judging by how they spec'ed that car out, I'd say that they don't know too much about anything...
Check the VIN - Unlike the first-gen MINIs, the later factory JCW models have a different VIN coding to denote their "JCW-ness". In particular, the sixth digit should be a "9". To be even more specific, the first six characters should be "WMWZP9".
On the first-gen MINIs, even the factory JCW models had the same VIN coding as the non-JCW models of the same body style (for example, a hardtop JCW would have the same VIN coding as an 'S' hardtop, while a JCW cabrio would have the same coding as an 'S' cabrio.)
EDIT - I just noticed the car is in Canada. If it was originally a Canadian delivery, the VIN coding may be different. I would still check, though - if the VIN does start with WMWZP9, it's almost certainly a factory JCW.
