Sorry to do this to you guys. Check out MotoringFile. The wait has just become that much longer.

Oh man, this is going to be good.

I don't know if I like that burble. It sounds rice-ish

You evil evil man, why do this to me? Seriously though from that admittedly early review it sounds like we should be VERY comfortable with our choice . Also fantastic news about how well the EDLC works eh? I disagree about the rice, it sounded nice and guttural to me.

So are you guys going to swap in a CAI? The airbox looks pretty similar to MCS. I would assume that the ones for MCS would work? I wonder if M7 or anyone has one planned exclusively for JCW?

Oh just looked at the pics again, that looks like the challenge car's engine. But I would assume that the JCW would be the same.

The airbox is the same as supplied with the JCW Tuning Kit so any of the aftermarket CAI's will work fine, I've decided to go with M7's Super-AGS as well as their FMIC.

Go with Lo-Jack, way more cost efficient when taking into account effectiveness and insurance discounts.

I've read that the air box is the upgraded dealer installed JCW version? Does that one suck(less air)?

Just got my financing in order for the new car. CAN'T WAIT until July 14th. Not that I had any doubts about my decision, but the motoing file sound bite said it all and hushed any concerns that I may (or may not) have had!

Are you kidding me?! I was hoping it would be kept at the dealership so at least we could sneak a pic or two of it. But I guess it is much safer there. My dealer is planning some sort of party for the release date of the JCW. It should be pretty big as my dealer hosts alot of MINI events, they're really into the MINI thing.
