Maybe a week, a week and a half. After it changes to Schedule for...., i don't think it changes any more. You'll need to call askmini. As a matter of fact, I call askMini for all my info now. It seems that the website is way out of sync with reality.

Think of all the money they're wasting by not having that website up to date. Some people call Askmini several times a day from what I've read.

Just a hint that new rims will be available for the JCW in about 6 weeks.
My 2009 Factory JCW is on the boat. The 7"x17" Challenge Spoke Alloy wheels come standard. Are these the wheels you're talking about?

There's a great post in the 1st gear section or the general mini section that spells out the process in detail. I just spoke with my first "bad" cust rep. He seemed annoyed that I was calling.

ALL the women I spoke with so far on ASKMINI have been fantastic and "acted" like they were really interested in my order.

Yep, female was nice to talk to. I probably won't need to call again until the 1st week in July.

Great post indeed:

The rims you see in all the ads are the rims we are getting, but there will be an upgrade option for 18" JCW coming out in a couple of months.

Those then are probably the rims you see if you dig into the JCW section of the website and view the options. Pretty 'different' -- I'm not sure I like them (but I don't 'love' the Challenge rims either) -- but heavy looking.

For anyone wondering, once you have the JCW page up on miniusa.com, click through YOUIFICATION -> ACCESSORIES and scroll until you see the R113 rim.

Interesting! Not something I'd get, and yeah, they look heavy, but interesting nonetheless. They need some with fewer spokes - racier looking and lighter weight.

Guess I won't be a member for another couple months.

I really want to see a car in person with the new 18" wheels and I am also awaiting the new body colors anticipated to come out in July.

WhooHoo got my production number finally. Looks like I am scheduled for week 27 production. So looking like a mid August delivery. Now the incessant checking of the owners lounge starts I guess. Though I had to call in to get my production week.

If I were you, I would put it out of your mind for at least 3 weeks. Then call ASKMini. I think mine is week 25, I'm at the point where they're building/painting it. I may stop checking/calling altogether for another 2 weeks. That should put the car state side by then. I'm gonna move to get my financing in order though and get my aero kit painted. That should keep me occupied.
