A party? Really? Haven't heard about my dealer doing anything like that. A party would definitely make delivery day special.

 

Yes, they have MINI drive in movie nights and all sorts of events. I guess it all depends on the dealer. The other dealer near me, just shelps the cars, no frills, no extras, no involvement.

 

Anyone know if we are going to have a JCW badge on the back? And are the side scuttles the same as MCS?

 

Just took a look at the standard equipment and answered my own question. It is listed for JCW badging as standard

 

Yes we will have on on trunk and front grill. The scuttles will be crome and different then the MCS.

 

The Chili is tempting, I think buyers remorse is trying to creep in.

 

What colour did you order?
Mines PW Chili was my second color but my Audi S5 is already red so didnt want two red cars.

 

I went with the AB with body color roof/mirrors.

 

Like Danyes, I went with AB/AB. I love the AB just hate the maintenance.

 

I'm rather wishing I'd ordered PW. That thumbnail of yours Hellion gets me every time I see it. There is nothing quite like the look of a freshly waxed white car. I could say that for black as well (have a black S4 Avant now) but it's only clean for a few minutes at a time.

The JCW on the boat is DS with body colored roof - not too flashy but I'm planning on silver sport stripes to dress her up a bit.

 

I had to go with the Astro Black, I don't think I could have lived with myself if I hadn't.

 

By the way... For those of you in Massachusetts, JCWerx is an available plate if you hurry (our vanity plates are 6 letters only). I was thinking of it but opted to stick with my old plate.

 

I was thinking R56 JCW for my plate they are still R56's right.

 

And I think I am going to do dark red viper stripes on the AB.

 

There are some vinyls with fine metallic in them that would work well on the AB I think. Bright silver looks great on black IMO - especially given the blueish tint and high metallic content in AB.

 

Ditto that. Arrrrrrgggg, back to washing once a week. I told myself on my last two cars (black) never again. I've been driving an Excursion for 3 years now and I swear I've only hand washed it twice. It was a nice break.

Black looks soooooooo sweeeeet for those first few miles.

Wow, I've never been a big fan of the smilies, NAM must be effecting me phycologically.

 

that makes me feel better about dark silver then.... my only 2nd guessing I had left was not doing w/AB. I was wondering about whether this particular black was as bad as the non-metallic black I had on my SLK.

 

Mine will be CR with Blk top and thinking about doing CF hood stripes to go with CF hood air intake, side mirrors and back latch but will wait until I see the car. Wanted gray with blk or white top but already have dolphin grey S4 avant so decided to change to red. No regrets yet.

Hellion and DC1; Please include a fleet shot when you get your JCW. There aren't many B6/B7 S4 Avants out there - interesting that we've got two here plus an S5. Audi's are my other weakness, but I'm definately bringing the JCW to the Audi factory drive event coming to New England in July.

 

Will do I currently have a B7 S4 as well but that is going when the JCW gets here in August.

 

My salesman just called me with great news. My sons DS/DS was completed yesterday and mine should be done tomorrow. Said we should have them by the end of July.

 

I have a B6 S4 avant that I have been trying to sell since I ordered the JCW. Won't sell for nothing though so probably will keep until someone willing to pay more. How do your prospects look for selling your S4?

 

Okay fellas, I hate to do this to you again.

Check out motoringfile.com again. They have updated their website with video of the autox drive of the JCW...that is a pretty loud exhaust for a stock car.

That car is exactly spec'd out like the one i ordered sans the stripes. If I go to pick up my car and it has 50 miles on it, I'll know where it came from
