25psi Boost with JB+ and JCW T-kit

Hi guys and gals. This is my first post on here. I Have a 2015 MCS w/JCW tuning kit (ECU Remap, and high-flow catback), a K&N Panel filter, and a JB+. I also installed a nm boost-tap and a Prosport Premium boost gauge. I run 93 octane Sunoco gas only. Last night I installed my JB+ at a 4 o'clock setting. At some point last night my car hit a peak boost of 25psi. Should I be concerned? This seems crazy high to me, as the most I have seen without the JB+ is about 15psi. I live in Ohio at about 600ft above sea level. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Also, does anyone think with these mods that I should go with a step colder of a plug?

I have the BT stage 2 flash and they purposely set it at 15psi. 25 is way too high

I would wonder if the JCW tune and the JB+ are combining to give you false readings.

Prosport gauges a few years back had a horrible reputation for being very inaccurate. I am not sure if that same reputation holds today. What PSI does your gauge show running the JCW tune only?

Assuming that your boost gauge was functioning properly then at 25psi your car would have thrown a code. If your jb+ is set to 4 o'clock then it is set to max which is +4.5psi. You should turn it down to minimum and log since you are running stacked tunes to make sure this setup is safe.

With the JCW tune, most of the time I saw around 12psi, and ocasionally 15psi (very rare). It could be the gauge. I've never seen it personally go up that high, but that's what the peak button showed. Im going to back it off no matter what. Also, side note, I changed out my motor mount yesterday...totally transformed the mini to next level status.

15 psi sounds right for the JCW tune.

I'm hitting 19 PSI on RPM Stage 2. Asked Mario about it and he says it's actually a little low. 25 is certainly too high for what OP is running but 15 seems similarly low for Stage 2.

Im happy with it at 15ish PSI. I trust ByteTronik and they have it there for a reason

It could be a little higher. Its hard to look at my gauge, drive and shift at the same time.

For sure. I just pull logs from Torque to see what I'm actually hitting on runs as I'd rather be looking at where I'm going instead of a gauge.
