Need Suggestions Regarding Wheels

Greetings,

Just picked up my wife's new 2026 Cooper S today. Cool car....

However, my wife hates the design of the 18" 'Nite Flash' style wheels. 2-tone of silver and black. She wanted either the all silver or the light gold wheels that she saw on some of the other MINIs on the lot.

Dealer said they could not change the wheels with one of the other cars, as they said they have to sell the car per what's listed on the large window sticker.

In addition, they said since we are leasing the car, they have to sell the car per the window sticker, in case we decide to turn the car in at the end of the lease.

My wife has been driving a 2019 Beetle that has a chrome hubcap that covers most of the wheel. She wondered is there's some aftermarket part to get a similar look or some other cover that looks like a spoke wheel in silver or some other creative idea.

MINI said if we buy another set of wheels, we would have to leave the tires on the current set of wheels. So, we'd have to buy new wheels plus new tires, an expensive option.

So, question is whether there is any solution to changing the look of the wheels without buying new wheels and tires?

Appreciate any all input.

Mark

New wheels?
Perhaps consider a set of nice pre-owned?
You might get lucky by stopping into a used tire store.
There are tons of them out here where I'm currently living out in the SW.
Facebook market place, sleezBay, or Craigscam or maybe even your local salvage yard maybe another cost saving option?

Just a thought.

BTW: Congratulations on your new Mini!

Thanks so much for your ideas and congrats!

Hadn't thought of the used market.
Will check that out!

In meantime, if anyone has any other ideas, would be great to hear them too.

Seriously though, you might look on Amazon for wheel covers. I got a set for my Mom's car that she liked for $40-50.

Thanks for the suggestion, certainly cost effective idea.....Do I need to make sure the covers say specifically for MINI?

Ideally, for best fitment. https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...yABEgK0gvD_BwE

You may not find a match, just looking for low-buck alternatives for you.

Thanks!

Those would be just what my wife would like looks-wise, color-wise.
However, they are for 15" wheels and my wife's car came with 18"

No other option. Either get new wheels and tires combo and save those for the lease return.

Hub caps factory like the vw beetle design only came on snow/steelies that MINI offers for the winter and then you use those hub caps. They are all in the 15"

1. Plasti dip silver = will not last long and peal off.
2. Buy aftermarket or Genuine MINI wheels and tires that you like and get the TPMS sensors that will work per year and model. Turn the car in for lease and remove you upgraded wheels/tires to the next MINI. https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/par...Cooper_S&mg=36
