It's nice to have some information, I was beginning to wonder what was going on!
That is fantastic news, Richard! Remember to post pictures!
Just got off the "Horn" with MINI also.
Mine is ETA Jun 3 (Wednesday) next week at dealer. Was told it's at the VDC going through QA and will be released to a shipper for delivery to my dealer. (gave me the shippers name but failed to write it down)
Figuring 24 - 48 hours @ dealership to prep car for delivery so I should be Motoring next weekend for sure (should get a call to pick car up Friday or Saturday I'd guess).

I agree, it's been really helpful to have some information. Thanks to everyone who's contributed information. I'll definitely post some pics when I take delivery as well.
order and waiting
I watch all you guys tracking your cars. I just couldn't stand it. Finally my MA calls me and says my car will be ready in two days. I just couldn't wait. When I picked my car, I was so happy it. My third MINI, it was the first that I patiently ordered with everything that I wanted. After close to 10,000 miles, I just really enjoy this car.
Whether you want a hardcore track car or a daily driver like me, the ability to custom order your car is very valuable to me and probably to many of us.

Rarely do you find the car you want in dealer inventory. Seems they order a "cookie-cutter" for the masses with options I don't want or missing those that I really do.
Our Mini dealer had a variety of cars, not one with the Wired Package, or just Nav, or a HK stereo, Lots with sunroofs.
Honestly, the only vehicle that came with everything I wanted in a base model was the Hyundai Santa Fe (09 and 2014). They usually have a silver on the lot too. I think the last car prior to the Santa Fe we bought off a lot optioned to our likes was a Plymouth Horizon way back in the 80's.
Definitely will post some pics when we get it. This is the first time ordering from scratch as well. Nowhere in a 3 state area had the color and exact options we wanted. And I didn't want my wife to have to settle for anything less than what she wanted. She deserves it. She is already trying to think of a good name and informed me that it's a boy. And we're trying to come up with a good personalized plate.
I've been thinking that over as well. There's a lot of good ideas, but I haven't had the 'a-ha!' moment yet
I'm going to call Mini tomorrow and see if my car has made it through final QA and been released to ground shipper. Wednesday (ETA at dealership) is getting closer,....
Great news. Hopefully we can pick ours up at the dealer next Sunday.
Any update, USA-RET?
My mini showed up at the dealer today. Picking it up tomorrow, after they have a chance to program it.

That one is already taken in California. I think I saw it on a mini last week. Or maybe it was just the license frame.
Yeah I checked yesterday and it's taken in NC as well. Too bad.
I took a quick look through the thread and don't think this has been posted recently, but someone else posted this link in another thread for those with cars on ships coming to Brunswick. You can see ships docked and cars being unloaded when the time comes. For those of us that have nothing better to do, that is

Called Mini this morning. Car was released to shipper (car carrier) yesterday and should be arriving dealership tomorrow (3 Jun).
Hoping to hear from dealer tomorrow when car arrives and maybe get a pick up date/time.
No expectations of getting the car on Wednesday...but even with feet dragging in service department, should not be more that 48 hours after car hits dealership before we get a call to pick it up.
Sooooo, Friday/Saturday at the latest and we'll be motoring.
Pictures will be posted upon receipt.
