Called Mini this morning. Car was released to shipper (car carrier) yesterday and should be arriving dealership tomorrow (3 Jun).
Hoping to hear from dealer tomorrow when car arrives and maybe get a pick up date/time.
No expectations of getting the car on Wednesday...but even with feet dragging in service department, should not be more that 48 hours after car hits dealership before we get a call to pick it up.
Sooooo, Friday/Saturday at the latest and we'll be motoring.
Pictures will be posted upon receipt.

So two questions then (I know these answers are different for everyone):
1) How many total days at the VDC
2) I assume you got the name of the freight company from 866-ASK-MINI?

Learnt a few new things as well (such as there's an option for venting the car, which you can set on a timer) - Say if you get out of work at 5pm every day, you can set the car to vent out any hot air at say, 4:45 so it's cooler when you get in during the summer months!
Really impressed with the whole experience.

Yeah, they brought it inside to do my walkaround. Sat me inside it and went though all the settings etc. Took about 30 minutes.

My MA informed me that mine had arrived the dealership. Yayyy!!!! What a pleasant surprise! I was expecting no sooner than Friday at the earliest, considering the vessel had just docked late Sunday afternoon. It is being detailed right now. We will be bringing it home in just a couple hours!!

I agree the different programs right now are great.
I don't get how the 4 door lease is $4 less per month than the 2 door though. Lol

Mine didn't show up today. Called our sales rep (female). She wasn't available (doing a test drive with a customer). Talked to another guy we dealt with and confirmed the Mini was released to shipper on 1 Jun and on its way. Said it may be in late today (doubted it) but perhaps tomorrow (Thurs) or Friday as the trailer had to make stops along the way to deliver BMW's too.
Got a call back later in the day from the lady sales rep we missed earlier and she left a message.
Pretty incoherent and off the cuff. Said the car was in port today and should be at the dealership in a week or two. She further stated she was on top of it and would let us know when it comes in. Honestly, I had to laugh at the message. The same woman that said the VIN would be issued after the car is built
You would think if you were selling a product, you'd know everything there was to know about rather than the customer knowing more they you. Sheesh!
Hopefully will know more in the next day or so.

Yeah keep us posted, it sounds like she just has no clue what's going on. Based on others' experiences there's no way it should be a week or two. Hang in there.
