Some very nice looking "rides" there fellas. Hoping to add a pix or two when mine finally arrives.

Probably right. She is very pleasant and nice, just tentative and pretty uninformed of the entire process.

Our house builder was a lady and she was the best we'd ever encountered.

Got a designated parking spot in the garage....just need a car.

Called the 1-866 number and got less info than the last time. It was like the person was reading off the Mini Lounge site with the same info. "At the port and should be released for shipment to your dealer soon".

Last time I talked to a real person I was told it was released and the shippers name ETA to dealership was yesterday (3 Jun) but was told it could be delayed. Seems like I'm going backward. Next thing I'll hear, my car is about to be loaded at Southampton for a sea voyage to the USA.

I'll call again tomorrow and see if I can talk to someone else. Heck, maybe my gal at the dealership was more "tuned in" that I thought she was.

For what it's worth, I called the number today and from the automated system I got the 'Your vehicle is at the port awaiting a shipping vessel' message...hmm...

But when I talked to a real person they told me it's due at the dealer on Monday. It does seem like the information gets a bit jumbled when you get to this point...

 

I think it gets jumbled too. They said it was released to trucking company on Monday 6/1 and scheduled to be at dealer on 6/7. Then yesterday at 4 our MA said it was at the dealer in PDI and would be ready for pick up at 7.
I feel confident you should be motoring by Monday.

Mine arrived at the dealer today. Pick up is scheduled for Saturday.

Ask Mini recorded voice sez mine is in transit (hoping they mean on a car carrier and not on a boat back to Southamption )

Perhaps it will hit the dealership beach-head today June 6th in the first wave.

 

I'm sure they probably just didn't get the first trip exactly right and they want to try it again to insure it has a pleasant trip across the ocean =)

 

I'm heading out in a few hours to pick up my new MINI!!

 

If she is hitting the buffets on these cruises, she'll look like a Hummer when I get her home.

It is official. Got home about 1 hr ago with our baby. 2015 2dr S, Pepper White body & Roof, Black Cosmos, Leatherette Carbon Black, Media Package, Premium Package, Sport Package, JCW interior, HK Audio, Rear Spoiler, Sport Auto with Paddle Shifters.

 

Congrats Jib! We shared the same pick up date lol. Just drove home a few hours ago my new 2015 Mini JCW.

Yeah, it definitely feels a lot longer when you're the one waiting. Next month though when we've all been motoring a while we'll wonder why we were so worried about all this. Probably
