MINIUSA finally gave me an estimated delivery of 10/14 for my VO MCS. Not sure how that's possible since it hasn't been released to the shipper yet.

Unfortunately, dates don't mean jack.

I've been calm, but losing ability to remain calm.

O/L has been showing 10/7 delivery for about a week. Haven't called dealer. Haven't heard from dealer either. So, I called 866-ASK-MINI. Nada for information. Whoever is putting these dates into the computer should be canned. Better to put a later date in and beat it, then to put dates in and miss them, especially for the cars held up by the EPA.

Argh!

Guess my eyes are tired--I first read the last word as "caned." That works for me, too!

Did they change the EPA gas mileage rating for the MC base models too? I'm going to be irritated if mine doesn't get the gas mileage they told me it would. Also, where are you guys finding the estimated delivery date?

There is already a 2015 MCS at my dealer. Even more infuriating since these were supposed to only now be released and it shows up as if by magic but our car is still MIA.

Someone posted an entry from BMW's factory testing that showed they did the 2014 test in ECO mode. This is obviously not how most people will drive the car and not even the default driving mode. Probably had a lot to do with why the EPA would not let them carry those test results over for the 2015 model year.

Go into the OL, Track my Mini, then Review Order Detail. It also has your VIN. Don't forget your car insurance before you pick it up.

It is likely a manual. Only the automatics were being held. I was surprised to see 2 2015 S alongside my car when it came in last Tuesday, then realized they were manual. I was also surprised that 2 dealer cars came in as well. My MA said they have to have something to sell. But in actuality, I don't think a dealership has any control over what comes in because they were also expecting another pre-sold that was not on the truck. In other words, I got lucky. I know saying your car will be here any day now is of no comfort - it would not have been for me either - but the wait really is almost over. (I can't believe it is Halloween month and I ordered in June. Seems light years away.) My OL said 10/5 and when I drove by the dealer on 10/7 and still nothing there, I was rather dejected. However, I found that my drive by missed the truck arrival by literally minutes. SO - all that is to say, hoping today is the day for you! Oh, and on 10/9, with the car in my garage, the OL was updated to 10/8.

Text from MA today at 9:19 a.m. CST "Your MINI has just pulled up!" along with a picture of her still on the car carrier. I recognize her from the Chili Red Hub caps.

The fog lifts and life is worth living again!!!!

Yes
I got it, took long time at the dealer because they had to replaced one of the bonnet strips because when they took the wrap off some of the black came off because of sitting for so long.
They gave me a polo shirt, key change, bull dog, and tires steam caps plus 250 off
I love it
Trying to learn everything is little overwhelming. I got the phone and iPod set up on Bluetooth. I will post pictures

You mean some of the vinyl came off because it was stuck to the wrap? Seems odd.

I used to pass by a holding area in Houston for a variety of makes. They all had this wrap on the hoods. Some had it elsewhere as well.

Vinyl did not come off just some of the black color. It was showing the white vinyl

No not paint but the black from the vinyl bonnet stripe. I did not take a picture but on the edge of bonnet stripe some of the black (almost look like when vinyl is old). Most likely the wrap and the heat and how long the wrap was on the car. It look like when they peeled the wrap off the edge of black vinyl came off.

Well, still no car. Only 12 days before I leave for MINIs In The Ozarks, and in that time I have to take delivery AND get graphics, stripes, and tinting put on. The graphics guy is ready to pounce, but he needs something to pounce ON!

Was really not wanting to lead a drive with a naked car...

I got Balrog yesterday. The delay wore me down and I was probably the least excited person they ever had picking up a car at the dealer. Driving the loaner unveiled a bunch of things I really didn't like about MINIs in general, so I might as well have been picking up a gallon of milk for all the enthusiasm I had. In contrast my wife was screaming with joy and bouncing off of the walls when we picked up her Coupe.

Dumping the automatic Justa loaner and getting a manual MCS made quite a difference in fun factor though. I'm enjoying the MCS much better than I thought I would so that's a positive development.

But this transaction couldn't possibly conclude without a hitch. The dealership wasn't able to get the license code for the navigation so my nav doesn't work. I was sitting with the crestfallen finance lady when the sales manager told me I was screwed with the nav for today. I looked her in the eye and said, "That is how this entire transaction has gone. And you wonder why I'm indifferent?"

I should have a code by Monday or Tuesday. Pics will follow.

Sorry to hear; hopefully in a week or two things will be better.

That's the reason why I decided not to sell my 05' 330i for the time being and just keep driving that until Auroris came. Driving a loaner would take away from the excitement!

In the meantime best of luck!
