Well, my OL still says 10/5 but as of about 6:15pm today when I drove by the dealer - no joy. I was hoping to see a bunch of new cars lined up in a big empty spot on their lot but such was not the case. Perhaps tomorrow.

 

Maybe it in the back lot where you cannot see it. We can only hope. Very soon we will all be happy campers!!!

 

Actually, there is a road that runs by the back lot. There are several Countryman and snuggled in between them is one VO F56 with the shipping wrap still on it. I did not see any other F56 except the few they have out front that have been there. I'm actually glad it wasn't there. It would have driven me crazy if I saw a red F56 sitting locked out of reach and not being able to know if it's mine or not.

I have noticed that there are no published results for the F56S Auto mpg. Have they been certified?

 

Got a message from my sales person today that my car is expected at the dealership today or tomorrow with pickup likely to be Wed. Hopefully others see their cars coming in soon.

For reference my order was 7/3 and the car hit the NY VDC on 8/8. Pickup is in NH and the ASKMINI folks stated my car was released to a carrier on 10/1.

 

They usually have 30 or so new Minis for sale there I think. They just never caught up with the initial demand for the F56 what with the EPA delay. Did you order one?

 

My sales person called again & sari my Mini will be ready Monday so I will head out early as the dealership is 230 miles away. Going to be hard to sleep to nite. Tim my sales person sent 3 pictures "Carlota".

Yes I did. I worked with Paul Diedrichs, had about the best purchasing experience of my life. I've got a Deep Blue MCS (stick, wired package, sport package, a few more extras) coming, sounds like around Christmas or New Years. It's been a little more than 24 hours and I have absolutely no idea how you guys have all waited this long. :D

 

Mine arrived at the dealership yesterday! I'm so excited!!

 

Wow, 230 miles! I'd definitely want some pics before I drove all that way. We live literally about 1 mile from our dealer as the crow flies. I may swing by on my way home from work to Monday see if there are any new F56's. None as of tonight.

Well..... my owners lounge date just went from 10/05 to 10/09. I'm guessing I was one of the first in prison as I think it originally arrived around 07/20.

The OL went from the 10/3 to the 10/6 (today) and AskMINI said my car was released to the carrier on 10/4. Buffalo is about 400 miles from NYC but I don't know if a particular carrier is going to go straight to one dealer (all cars on the carrier are for that dealer) or zig zag around the country with cars from several dealers.

I conclude from all this information that the only thing I know for sure is I'm not getting the car today.

 

Mine was impounded on 7/23 and OL said 10/8 for months until recently when it changed to 10/5. So far it is still 10/5 (although that has come and gone.) Ask-Mini says it was released to carrier on 10/2, but beyond that, no one seems to know where it is. MA expects it to show up today, but from what I gather, he doesn't have any solid information to base that on. I hope he's right though.

 

My was released to the carrier on 10/1 and suppose to get to the dealer on 10/5 yesterday, have not heard anything from the dealer yet. MiniUSA said that their system take 24-48 hours to update. If I don't hear from the dealer by end of the day, I will call the dealer.... It would be nice if the dealer would call me first for once.

I wish I didn't have to keep pestering the salesman to get information. I called him on Saturday because our cars were supposed to arrive. He checked and confirmed that hers was there and said he'd call me today to let me know if we could definitely come to pick it up tomorrow night.

still haven't heard from him. guess I need to call him again.

 

I'm just north of the city in Westchester, mine is arriving sometime today. Was yours in The VDC in NJ? If so, maybe they're dropping off as they go north? At least people are starting to see movement. I hope everyone gets theirs soon! I'm so jumpy with excitement, I want to go by & say hi to mine tomorrow since we can't pickup until wed!
