My car is on the Mignon and due at the Port Hueneme on July 9. She just re-appeared after crossing the Atlantic and is now near Puerto Rico.

Just rolled off the truck this morning! My MA sent me a couple shots to prove it. We're down to mere hours now, people.

Wallenius website shows my vin as "discharged" from the Fedora as of 1:40p yesterday. Got a call from my MA a couple hours later saying they expect to take delivery in 7-14 days. Assuming the best of that scenario that's 102 days. I'm exhausted.

Whelp, still have to wait 'til Monday to pick up the car, but my MA had me come in today to get paperwork/financing straight in order to take advantage of a June rebate offer of $250 off MSRP. Now all I have to do Monday is literally just swap cars. While I was there, they gave me the keys to my new ride so I can go fiddle with it in the lot (still fresh off the truck), it was REALLY tempting to not just take off for a spin.

Could have been a great day today as I saw on my dealer site that my car had arrived. Problem is that it is my first order where the factory changed from white top/mirrors to all body color and the dealer didn't catch the change. :(

At least the corrected 2nd build is currently on a ship but I'm still looking at an additional 3-4 weeks before I see it. Going to stop by today and at least see how the 1st one looks with all of my other choices. Sure would have been nice driving on the 4th Holiday weekend.

Does it take some time for your VIN to work in the various VIN decoder tools? I've had my VIN for several days now, but the VIN decoder tools say it's not recognized. I assume that's probably because productions not scheduled to be complete until July 2, but I thought I'd ask.

My car arrived today at the dealer. Just waiting for my MA to call me back to schedule pick up (missed his call during lunch) either tonight or Wednesday night.

Good catch by the MA. I'm going to just miss those--hopefully something equally great comes out for July.

Picked her up today! Ordered April 21st and delivered June 30th. Dealer ended up being spot-on with their estimate of "8-10 weeks". I couldn't be happier. Now, the real adventure begins...

I logged on to OL last evening and got a pleasant surprise. My Mini status changes from "on order" to "scheduled for production" along with a VIN number assigned. From what I have read it usually takes a couple weeks to move from "on order" to "scheduled for production;" it only has been a week. What is the estimated time of delivery for everyone once it reaches "scheduled for production?"

I am scheduled for completion on 7/3 as well. Maybe we will be on the same boat to the US :-)

Looks like I sailed on the Garnet Leader a couple of days ago and am currently mid Atlantic. Stopped at the dealer yesterday and saw my original build with the incorrect body color roof and am glad I decided to wait for the white roof as I'll be much happier in the long run. The extra month wait is no fun knowing I could be driving now

When in the process should the VIN show something when plugged into the VIN decoder?

Yup, as soon as the VIN is generated you should be able to see the details of your car from a vin decoder. This one is my favorite: http://www.bmwarchive.org/vin/bmw-vin-decoder.html

Hmmm... have had the VIN since Sunday, but always get a no data found message so far. Human said production started 6/26 and will complete 7/4. Guess I'll just keep checking. Thanks for the link.

I'm the same way -- got my VIN with production complete scheduled for tomorrow. But all VIN decoders say "who are you?"

Mine didn't show up until production was complete. The print-out you get shows the date completed, so I assume that's when the VIN gets "published". But I'm just guessing...
