F55/F56 Order Status
Was tracking the MICHIGAN HIGHWAY to Brunswick. It arrived yesterday. My MA e-mailed me today that my car was off the ship. I saw the ship had left out of Brunswick. Will update to see how long it takes to get on the truck. My MA has been pretty good at keeping me informed. I know that has not been the case with others.

Somewhere in there. Not sure how to figure out exactly when.
The humans at 1-800-ASK-MINI had expected it to be at my dealership by 6/10.
On 6/11 it wasn't registered with the carrier per my MA, but the automated system said it had been released to the carrier and was in transit.
He called me today to let me know it's on the way and will be here soon.
Would be nice if they had a single system where you could figure it all out.

Fingers crossed they get it prepped today.
Of course, I think the that was the status on my last one for three days before it actually arrived.
Mine was official off the Don Juan on 6/11, Owner's Lounge thinks it should be available for pickup on 6/15, but of course my dealership is closed on Sundays so that isn't happening! My MA expects it to show up middle of next week, I'm hoping 6/20 for pickup, but we'll see!
The automated phone line now thinks my car is at the dock waiting for a shipping vessel, ha. It's gone backwards.
Looks like my baby (Justa VO) will start her long journey tomorrow.
She will be on the Aida headed to NY. Anyone else on the same ship?
If it weren't for you guys and all the tracking information, I would have no idea where she is as my MA's last words to me were, "I'll let you know when your Mini arrives."
This is my first Mini and I was hoping my MA would make this experience a little more exciting for me. Oh well, I'm happy she will be here soon.

I put in my order last Friday, the 6th, it was put on hold for H/K, the 11th I got confirmation from my MA that the order was placed with H/K added. Today, my status changed to scheduled for production.
How much longer is the wait typically from the start of Scheduled for Production? If Sepp's estimation is correct, I'm assuming one month.

My 1 month (fingers crossed) from production being complete to delivery was with missing a boat and sitting at the dock for a full week waiting for the next one. But I'm also in NY, which is both good and bad, because boats only leave once a week for NYC/NJ port, but its not too long of a trip. Boats leave much more often for Baltimore. After that both boats will go down and hit GA and SC. Making the swing around to California is a much lengthier trip, and that services most of western US.

Get ready for up to 90 days plus until your behind the wheel. I ordered my car March 12th and it's suppose to be on the truck heading for the dealer. I hope to be driving it home next week. I have over 90 days with no problems. I found the tracking process very depressing as it drug out. If you can just forget it and wait for the dealer to call it will be a better experience. Good luck and be patient if possible.
It looks like they're starting to get caught up, other than the delays on HK and contrasting roof color.
I've seen other people posting times significantly quicker than mine.
Mine was ordered 4/12 was supposed to be on a truck Friday with a delivery tomorrow. Dealer said it was not on the truck. Here's to waiting a few more weeks.
90 would be average for a roadster
We are looking at very similar pick up dates!
Mine should be on a truck for my dealership Tuesday and ready for pick up either Saturday or Sunday.
I placed my order on 5/30. The build was complete last Friday, 6/13. Now it needs to get on a ship... I did take a production spot that the dealer had for an inventory car. I have both a contrasting roof and hk sound system.

The system is flawed, that has been established in the greatest capacity!
Ask Mini saying my car is also waiting for a shipping vessel. Owners lounge says it is being delivered to my Mini dealer, my MA says maybe this week...
STOP the Insanity!
Sometimes ignorance really is bliss.

Funny, we are in same boat. I've been following this since March12. I'm in Georgia waiting on the truck to load it up. My experience is that each status change is at a minimum a week to clear.
It's so depressing watching everybody who ordered after I did taking delivery and loving their cars. I would really like my car so I can enjoy the summer with it. By the time I get the damn thing there will probably be snow on the ground :P
Love it so far. Even figured out a feature I hadn't heard about.
When using cruise control if you tap the button to speed up or slow down it moves by 1 mph. If you press it all the way it jumps to the next 5 mph interval, up or down.
Got it today. The dealership must have had a full truckload today. They were all over the place being delivered.

I have a question, do they ship any cars by train in the U.S.?
In Canada, because most of the population is in one string near the border, I think all cars are shipped by train.
They used to come by on open cars, you would see the new cars first clipping by at 80 mph, stacked two or three high, but they had to enclose the cars in the 80’s, kids loved to break the windows and 'youths' loved to spray paint them.

This is amazing, the Vega was shipped vertically!

My 100 day wait is suppose to be over Thursday. I've been investigating carbon buildup. Ordered my first can of bg44k today. Going to get it in my babies veins early. BMW recommends it.
