Is anyone on the Daedalus Leader with me?

Ive been tracking it, and as of right now it is smack dab right in the center of the atlantic ocean! Cant wait for it to make its way to california!

 

How are you tracking ships in the middle of the atlantic? My ship (Titania), only list the past point of contact, which was on May 29th. Its due to arrive on Baltimore on 6/6.

 

It will re-appear when it comes within range unless you pay for satellite nav.
You can determine location by multiplying (time X 18 kts.) you know the heading. Use the way/plot points to determine location in terms of distance.

I'm on a boat! I'm on a boat! Loaded aboard the "Tiger", which set sail today and is due in Baltimore on the 12th. Looks like I just made this one, as my car was number 97 loaded out of a total of 105. Any ship buddies out there?

The Columbia Highway has docked in Brunswick. Hopefully it won't be long now.

 

Mine got on the Fedora today and should be at Port Hueneme in 22 days!

 

Happy to report I made it on a boat. It was at the dock on May 25th, and was loaded on the Michigan Highway on May 31st. It did not update in the MC louge till June 4th.

Toreador cleared the canal yesterday.

Finished Production: 5/22
On Port: 5/23
Loaded on Vessel: 6/04

So excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

How did you find which boat? We should be on the same one to GA. My Owner's Lounge is also now up to date. Did you talk to them at Ask-MINI?

 

Ya as soon as I saw the update I called the Ask-Mini. They gave me all the info.

 

Here's a quick summary of my build time.
This is a S with H/K sound and body colored roof.

Ordered 5/3, In Production 5/5-5/15, Loaded onto the Tongala 5/19, Arrived in NYC 5/29, Picking it up tomorrow 6/5! So just over a month! The dealer initially estimated an end of June to July delivery so obviously I'm extremely happy with such an early arrival!

 

Wow...less than 5 weeks?!? About half my time.

1-800-ASK-MINI still says mine's at the port awaiting a shipping vessel, but it should be at the distribution center after having been taken off the Columbia Highway.

I think it was around 10 days from here (to Austin) on my last one.

Tombarra has left Port Hueneme CA and is headed north. This means she dropped her Minis yesterday. It is a 3 hour drive to my So Cal dealer, but the Mini needs to get BMW processed. Maybe this weekend?

 

Keep us posted if you do get it this weekend. I'm interested to know how many days from port to dealer

 

Mine landed in Baltimore on 5/29 and was told it would ship on 6/4 and get here on 6/7. I am now told that it is shipping on 6/13 and arriving at my dealer on 6/16.

 

On the Fedora as well. Should be just shy of 90 days, from order to delivery, by the time I get my hands on her.

 

Same boat, about 60 days end to end for me by the time its all done.

 

I just got this email from my MA when I asked him about the timeframe once it gets to the LA area:

Once your MINI arrives at the port of LA, it takes on average 10-14 days to be delivered to MINI of Reno. I will let you know as soon as your MINI arrives at MINI of Reno so we can schedule a date for you to take delivery of your new MINI : )

 

Anyone else experiencing delays through the Baltimore port? I arrived on 5/26 on the Tamesis and still has not been shipped. Asked my MA and she said the port is very busy and just went through a move. She expects it to be shipped next week. This seems like an awfully long time. I also asked about damage and she said she had not received any reports at this time, but would let me know if she gets one.

Anyone else sitting on the edge of their chair waiting in the port?!?

 

Mine arrived in Baltimore on 5/29. Was first scheduled to depart 6/4 but now they are saying 6/13 (next Friday) with arrival to Wisconsin 3 days later.
