Seems I can't get a straight answer from anybody. I get different updates from my dealer, folks on the Mini hotline and the WW site.
My car (it is a Roadster by the way...sorry if I hijacked your guys thread, couldn't find another good tracking thread) was built on 5/15. Didn't reach port till 5/23. Was booked 5/23 then returned to shipper on 5/25.
My MA called on 5/28 to tell me it was on it's way to the port....huh?? Maybe there was damage and it went back to the factory, then back to port? Only thing I can think of.
I wouldn't think it should be this hard to keep track of.

I have been released to port as of yesterday. .dont know what's going on. I will check the vin again later..but as of now..nada.
So glad yours is sailing..was hoping to be with seppb!
Just called again ..said..vehicle awaiting shipping vessel. :-)

If you haven't already, follow the post from SeppTB (#624)
Looking it up by booking number is what worked for me. Check it out and see if your VIN shows up on the list.

Ljer, my Roaster S was also completed on 5/15. Mines still shows "Awaiting Release to the Carrier" on 1-866-ASK-MINI. Been over two weeks and I am getting frustrated. Think mine will come K-Line thru Brunswick, GA. There was a ship that left today that I hope mine is on. MINI has not updated their phone or web-site. My MA and ASK-MINI have not been too helpful on when it is destined to be shipped. Getting frustrated with MINI. Would be nice if they could project which ship (and date) you will be on instead of leaving you hanging.

Seems like K-line, especially, gets behind.

It ended up on K-Line on 5/23, but online didn't update until 5/30. 1-800-ASK-MINI automated system still said it was at the port. But the human told me it was on a ship and what day.

My roadster S was completed 4/15. I'm at the Brunswick distribution center since 5/23. The average is 5-10 days on this end before a carrier gets it. I'll have 90 days since I ordered on June 12. Count your blessings it's not a short process. I hope to close in a week or so.

sheesh...mine all but "promised" me that there was no way it was going to be 6-8 weeks. And he's going to be right. This Thursday is eight weeks. If it's here by the next Thursday (9 weeks) I'll be happy.

My MA also told me 6-8 weeks but he also said after production is completed. That will put u at 90 days in most cases.

The Don Juan is currently at South Hampton Port and loaded up! Booking number GBSOU1206763 that I mentioned yesterday had 48 more cars added to it, so if you were hoping to be part of the trip over but weren't on the list (AJW!) take a look again, might be there now =)

Dealer said they will need 2-3 days to get all of my free accessories put on and everything tidy.
