Technology is amazing. I'm watching Live right now the Garnet Leader heading thru the Gatun Locks at the Panama Canal with my baby aboard
Won't be too much longer until she is back on dry land and headed up to Northern CA.

Hello DougH,

My Mini is on Garnet Leader too. I was watching it passing thru the Panama Canal this afternoon. Now the ship is out of range and it will re-appear two days before it reach CA according to the earlier ship, Mignon.

Do you know if Garnet Leader is going to make a stop in San Diego or non-stop to Port Hueneme? If it's non-stop, it should arrive at Port Hueneme on the 16th or 17th the latest, and we might get our cars as early as the 20th.

At least two different websites list the next stop for the Garnet Leader in San Diego :(

Long time lurker here and first time with a mini.
My 2015 MCS was finally scheduled for production (:
Can't wait, took me a while to find someone to take over my current Nissan Juke lease.

I see the Garnet Leader is scheduled to arrive in San Diego on 7/17 so I would guess Port Hueneme a few days afterward. I'd just love to have the car by the weekend of 7/26-7/27

After lurking here for 2 or 3 months, I ordered an 2015 MC, Blazing Red/ white with black wheels, fully loaded with goodies on 7/7. It showed up as on Order on 7/9. My dealer (MINI of Portland) said to expect 10 to 12 weeks. Ugg. I am going to have a hard time waiting. Such a neat car.

Looks like the Mignon is off-loading in Port H.

Has anyone being able to track and trace their cars this weekend that were cars that have been on the dock ready to load. This past weekend 3 ships were suppose to dock in Southampton and then go to North America. One did Aida, Columbia Highway did dock and left but then went back to the North Sea in the other direction and Honor has not left their current port and suppose to dock in Southampton today which look like it will not make it today. I have been seating on dock ready to load since July 9. Who knows maybe I am on ship but it does show in this link https://offices.2wglobal.com/offices...ckSearchResult Yet

wtwien - Columbia Highway is a K-Line ship and doesn't offfer VIN tracking, so if you end up on there (or the Michigan Highway which is set to dock in SouthHampton on the 26th) the only way to know for sure is asking on the phone line with a real person or an update from your MA. I took at look at its schedule (http://www.kline.com/KAMCarCarrier/S...g_Schedule.pdf) and it does seem a bit off schedule, whenever that file updates again it'll say where it ended up.

Hope you make it on one of them soon!

Once your car hits the shores of USA:
How long does it take to get to the dealer?
And once the dealer has the car:
How long does it take the dealer to prep (with no dealer installed options added) the car to take ownership?.

Guess it feels better knowing I am not alone, or have a one off issue.

My completion date was July 3, and I just caught the boat on July 14. So it looks like a two week wait for a ride is fairly normal! Hope you guys hitch a ride soon

My car came into Brunswick GA and was at the dealer ready to pick up 8 days later. Had to be transported to Houston from GA.

My car made it to port in the States 7/4 and was at the dealership 7/18. That may have taken a bit longer because we had a hurricane go up the coast just a bit before it got here, so the port may have been a bit backed up. As far as prep time at the dealership, it was ready the next morning for pickup after arriving late in the day 7/18. So half a day prep time with no options for me, but it could be faster or slower depending on your dealer/techs.

I finally have my CM. Order placed 5/20, picked up 7/23, driven through the worst thunderstorm I've ever been through in the middle of the night for its first journey and now it's safely home.

Mine was completed 7/10, still no boat if it's on WWL. K-line doesn't allow you to track cars the same way. I ran into problems with my current car because of that, and didn't find the ship until a day or two before arrival. I spoke to a real human a couple of days ago, and she said to expect 2 weeks after completion. So, that's today?

I just had a quick question and I apologize if this has been answered somewhere else. My vin was able to be pulled up on WW Track & Trace; however, my status went from booked to received at terminal, and now as of today showing returned to shipper. Can anyone explain what this means?

Thanks so much! :-)

The ships are on a tight timetable for the amount of time at the dock. Typically, a few booked cars may not make it on the ship as they have to close up and set sail. If you watch the Faust ship video (google), you will see there are low tide issues and they have to get underway lest they be grounded.

Probably means it's one of the first in line for the next one! Do you know what your completion date is?
