@mikeymike1985, This happened to me too. Mignon was leaving at noon and my car was received at terminal around 9am. Not sure it's due to a full ship or no enough time to load my car, my status changed to return to the shipper. Like
daffodildeb pointed out, you should be the first in line for the next ship.

Initially I though I had to wait for 2 weeks for the next ship but luckily there is another ship, Garnet leader, 7 days later. I'd suggest you to look up your booking record. You should see 2 booking number under your car. The 2nd one is the ship which you want to track.

Do you know what date your car was completed? Wondering how long it took to get a ship.

Thanks so much!

I sure hope so. My completion date was July 3rd.

Thanks for the great information. My car is not showing a second booking number yet when searching my vin in the cargo id field so I will just have to keep checking for any updates.

Thank you all so much for all the help and feedback. I love this forum! :-)

Placed deposit down on 7/3. Order and VIN created 7/7. Built on 7/18. On the ship 7/19. New York NY scheduled 7/30.
Sounds too good to be true but that's our build schedule.

That IS too good to be true. My build started 7/7 and was completed 7/10, and I still don't have a ship, according to the MINI USA human I talked to (and tracking).

Wonder why it was so much faster for you.

Just out of curiosity, does the Owner's Lounge show that it's awaiting transport, or does it say you're enroute?

I ought to add my info to the thread. I ordered a '15 MCS in Thunder Grey, very loaded on 7/8/2015. I got a production number and date the next day. It supposedly finished production on 7/19/2015 and as of 7/21/2015 has been sitting on the dock waiting for a ship. Nobody seems to know when that will be.

I'm impatient by nature and this wait is killing me. I know compared to some, my car got built pretty fast so I'm thankful for that.

Dear MINI, put my stupid car on a stupid ship already!

Yes the lounge says enroute. Something else about your baby is getting his sea legs?

I don't understand why some update quickly and other don't. My was loaded on July 19 onto the Columbia Highway and I just found out today (July 25th) that it was loaded and still states on the lounge that it is Awaiting Transport. Could it be the different shipping lines?

I have the same thing as you. I am still under awaiting transport in OL and mine was also loaded onto the Columbia Highway. Just be happy it is under way....you could have been "return to shipper."

Woohoo! After weeks of putting in my VIN on the WWL site, with "no records found," today I went to the Owner's Lounge and found that my car's on a ship! Must be on a K-Line (like my '07), but since it's the weekend I can't find out which ship.

Anyone want to venture a guess as to which ship? Completed 7/10. Would that be the Columbia Highway?

That sounds like the Columbia Highway. Mine was completed around the same time (7th) and is on the Columbia Highway which left on the 19th.

Our car was finished on the same day and is on the same boat. Our status was also updated last night even though the boat shipped on the 19th. It is set to arrive on the 1st.

Spoke to my MA yesterday on trading in my Scion tC (trying to get the best price of course). He stated it should take 5-7 days to get to my dealer (Orlando Mini) from the Brunswick port. Then additional day or two to get it through the shop (assuming to add the accessories I wanted). That puts me getting my car around Aug 11th.

The Columbia Highway has recorded a new Position Received final after the last one was received on July 21th. It is getting closer to the East Coast.... Arrives in BAL night of July 29th and Brunswick Aug 1st. It is almost here
