That sounds reasonable. Following my baby has seriously cut into my daily productivity. It's addictive.

 

I called Mini USA and they told me that once the finish of production on July 4th: the Vin decoder the Vin should be recognize?

Looks like the Mignon has been delayed a day. My Port Hxxxxxx* date is now July 10.

Ah, sorry for the bad advice becky1711! My VIN definitely decoded before it was finished being made, but production was so slow back then maybe they were making far fewer cars and could get the VIN 'published' faster =)

Mine is scheduled to be completed 7/3/2014 but when trying to use the vin decoder, it was unable to find anything related to my vin. So you are all saying once production is complete, I should be able to use the decoder and obtain more information?

 

That is what Mini USA told me when I called them yesterday. I hope it is true.

 

I'm looking forward to using the decoder. I am gonna call today and see if the automated system gives me different information. Does the automated system actually tell you it's in the paint shop etc., or do you have to talk to a live person?

 

Just called and the automated system says "Your vehicle is in the body shop with an estimated completion date of 7/3/2014". Anyone happen to know what the next stages the automated system will say up until completion, and if the status it gave me is one of the first updates other than "Your vehicle is in production"?

 

Next is the paint shop.

Mine is scheduled to be completed on 7/3 and is currently in the paint shop. The VIN finally showed up in the decoder tonight. Everything looks good on the VIN report except the car has the wrong wheels on it.

 

After a week of sittin' on the dock of the bay for a week, my status finally changed to En Route today. I'm on a boat!

 

Is there any significance that the deliver date on the review order detail (Owners Lounge) as updated. A few days ago it still had 6/30, but today it changed to 7/2. According to the automated sys it was enroute to the dealership as of yesterday. I'm trying not to bother my MA since its the holiday weekend, but I need to know where she is.

 

Mine is a 2015 and this morning it was scheduled for the Carmona according to the shipping site. Then, the status went to "return to shipper" on the shipping site. Has anyone had this issue?

 

From what others have posted it means it didn't make it on the ship and needs to wait for the next ship.

Tropical Storm Douglas seems to have slowed down the Mignon. Douglas is off the coast of Baja California and the Mignon has cleared the canal but not moving that fast.

 

My 2015 is on the Endurance! Eta of 7/13 to Baltimore!

Just hoping there won't be a EPA hold or anything for customs since it's a new model year.

My Mini has finally reached the dealership. I'll be picking her up on Thursday. I'll post pics as soon as I can.

 

The Mignon is now off the lower coast of Baja California and scheduled in Port H on Thursday July 10. Then my MINI will be on its way to Denver.
