Eventuri claims are made on a tuned engine, so I would read them as "up to" numbers.
AWE claims are the same. They say "Max gains of... to the crank." Subtract drive train losses, and you're looking at maybe 5hp to the wheels? If you can measure and feel 5hp, you're butt is a LOT more sensitive than mine. 5hp is ~2% of the 190hp your Mini is rated stock, which is well within the tolerance of any dyno.
If I was marketing one of these intakes kits, I would use lowest 'stock' dyno plot and compare it to the highest 'modified' dyno plot, and put out those numbers.
Biggest gains on these cars are going to be had from downpipe and a tune. Buy an intake for the sound, if that's what you're after, not for the power gains.

i have a jb4 right now & definitely see a difference with it so far.
I am trying to keep the heavy mods off for a while, still a new car. Plus I think the dp would add too much sound into the exhaust- still the “dad car”
also just got confirmation from AWE. That their intake does not fit onto the 2020 model
I have a Dinan intake. The price was reasonable for the sound (especially by comparison to eventuri). If they made it in plastic for less I would have been even happier, the carbon under my hood sparks no joy for anyone but my mechanic. There is no power gain that I can sense, but I got what I was looking for so no regret. My first impression after the install was that the throttle was a hair more responsive (in sport) but then that becomes the baseline and you look for the next fix. You may do just as well with a drop in filter.
Hey everyone! Need some advice / opinions! Looking for an intake for my 2020 Clubman.
Initially I wanted the eventuri for the functional good scoop idea. They say 8-15 hp & up to 25 tq.
But then I got caught up in the cost and unsure if it would be worth it so I set on the AWE. Half the price, guarantees 9 hp & 10 tq.
Looking at potential power, the plastic version of the eventuri sounds good again since it can give almost double hp/tq.
Can anyone here share feedback on both if they've had? Pros/cons?
Not sure if Eventuri change their hood scoop design yet. I had Eventuri installed before and the part of the intake under the scoop did not match the opening of the hood scoop. I've contacted Eventuri regarding this issue over several emails. They were very friendly and willing to help, but sadly they didn't even know the F56 and F54 had a different position hood scoop. I was going to retro fit it buy cutting the opening of the intake to fit the scoop, but I had to give up and return the intake due to the awkward position. Be sure to contact them and ask about it before purchasing. Maybe they have a new one specifically for F54.
The two small openings were too close together and too far back. When you close the hood, they don't match the openings on the hood. Both are only covered about 50%
I contacted them last month and they sent me an email last week. They just released the 2020 Clubman version this week. Only have CF available for $1399.
Eventuri has there's, AWE Tuning discontinued the MINI line. :(
I like the Eventuri design, but want to make sure it fits the Pre-LCI Clubman. Every indication I've seen, is that it doesn't. If the Pre-LCI kit is just for the F54, then maybe. However, there is a difference in the F54 vs F55-57.
My recommendation is add the Pre-LCI MAF tube to the LCI kit, since the Hood/scoop location is the same.
From the other thread:
" I received an email from the Eventuri Sales Administrator. She indicated that the technical department is aware of the problem and is fixing the plastic CAI ducting.
The problem has been resolved for the CF version, and unfortunately, it will take 6-8 weeks for the solution to be implemented for the plastic version." That was back in June.
We have one in stock from the older design. I will see what they can do. Hang tight.

I had the same issue with my plastic CAI from Eventuri for my Pre-LCI F54.
After contacting them, I was informed that a solution was found for the problem and they sent me a replacement manifold. I am still not impressed with the fitment, but it is much better than before.
