Black door handles from mini

Mini black door handle so much better than plastic covers.

 

The Black MINI bonnet badge looks good too! As does the black fron fascia trim. Nice Clubman. Very nice indeed.

Are you going to do/did you do the rear barn doors CLUBMAN letters in black as well?

 

Black lettering already done, waiting for the black barn door handles to come out.

Yes swapped out on my own , wasn't bad I have the instruction to do them. The only thing is you need 2 people to remove and install, I lost 1 of the screws that fell inside the door panel, make sure you hold the screw in place with tool as you are unscrewing the metal plate or else they easily fall between the door panel. I'm hoping the black door handles come out soon.

I noticed the launch car doesn't have black rear handles. Did the dealer say they're expecting them. They've been out before the LCI so I'm wondering if they ever will make barn door handles in black.

 

They don't have any idea if barn door handles will be available in black, they can guess they will since side handles just came out and it's a matter of time.

I have not seen any yet, will let you know when they come out.

Does anyone have an update on when/if there may be MINI black rear door handles? Otherwise, I'm trying to track down black overlays for the rear doors.

So do I understand right these appear to be new parts for MINI black door handle(s) - not overlays? Would I need 1 or 2? Good to see there seems to be movement to make true MINI black handles

My clubman is due to be built in March, so I still have a bit of time for the port installed options to potentially update so all 6 doors can get black handles.
