Looking for a DIY to add power to boot of 03'

Does anyone have an how-to, pics, write up, anything on how to add a 12v power source to the boot of a 2003 (justa)Cooper. The 03' models are the only ones without the added power back there and I wan't to put the socket in.

Jeremy- if you're only pulling small power (10A max), you can
pull it from the fusebox by adding a Add-A-Circuit, route the
14awg wire down below the side sills (inside the car, that is),
under the rear seats, and into the wall of the boot.

You can get ground from the metal wall somewhere in the
boot or drill a small hole for your ground screw.

Just drill a hole in the wall to match your socket and walla.

If need be, that will be my last resort, of course, I'll probably run the wire completly out of sight the entire way back . But I'm hoping someone has an idea of what wires to tap to draw power and the ground from the OEM wiring.

Get yourself a manual with a wiring diagram and see what is there to tap into.

They don't have them yet. July, we're heading to Nebraska for the christening and gift-giving. I told you there was no hurry on them.
