Stock Pulley Reinstallation

Search function isn't really coming up with the right information.

What would it take to put the stock pulley back into my 03 MCS?

I did the install job for the ALTA pulley I have in there now.

I also still have the belt tensioner tool.

Does anyone know the procedure for getting the stock pulley back on the supercharger shaft? using heat? or a tool?.

thanks

That is gong to be "fun"
as the SC shaft doesn't have threads for a retainer bolt ...

Heat is proably going to be needed but you woukd need to make spacer so that the alignment would be correct.
I did see a stock size multi peice pully somewhere ...

My basic understanding is that the original part was heated and pushed on by machine. So, unless I need it to look stock, I wouldn't want to try it.

The easier route would be to get a stock size pulley similar in design to the reductions that many vendors sell and put it on. You are already familiar with the procedure for that type of installation.

Call or email the vendors. You never know what they may have in stock. Just because they don't advertize it doesn't mean they don't have one sitting around, unsold.

If you don't need the look of stock then I know Alta and Madness both make stock size pullies.

Just trade it !

That is the beauty od a trade in.
Sign on the bottom line and any "issues" are not yours
The new owner may be pleasantly surprised

Think of it as a gift to a "new" mini owner

I remember seeing threads in the end of my SC shaft when I did my pulley, if the OP doesn't have them in his, then that will be fun. Good luck.
EDIT:
Actually, from another thread someone posted the WMS pulley how-to, shows Randy inserted a bolt in the SC shaft...
