Yes they are...even with numbers to show, there are a few who are still very bothered by the RMW head...

So why are they on the printout

They're are on the printout as a concession to all the other dyno manufactures out there. Wheel diameter gives a road speed/mph number. Vehicle weight can be used to figure accel times. These are not figured into any calculation but since other dyno companies give that info Dynapack felt compelled to do so as well. There is only one factor in set up that needs to be entered and accurate and that is overall drive ratio. This is necessary in order to get an accurate engine speed number from hub speed. There are large margins for error with most if not all inertial type dynos. This is a well know and documented fact and is the cause for all the differences from dyno to dyno. What we and others who chose Dynapack have found is that these dynos , because they measure torque directly, are extremely accurate.

I think it was a comment posed by a member alluding to the RMW's "miracle properties"...

Wow wow wow!!!!!!!!!

You know when you have something really really good when the competition (in this case Don from DMH) calls Jan's master head porter and asks to have a head made.

Sound like Jan's competition is getting more worried by the minute. Don you should be ashamed to come on here and talk trash about his dynos then try and steal his head design. I guess the Wegner head isn't as good as advertised.

I called Port Flow, identified myself (my phone number also appears on caller ID if equipped), and asked a question about the head and its how it is sold. The person who answered the phone informed me that I was to contact you – the person on NAM who started a thread about a 231 HP head. However, you are not a vendor on NAM. Not good!

I have no problem with this head but rather the manner in which it was presented.

As I said many times, I have nothing to do with the head. It belongs to Jan as does his company.

Don, you do have a problem and it's competition. I am a paying customer of Jan. Sorry to ruin your grand plan. From what I heard you wanted to have a head made????? You also did not identify yourself. He googled your number and thats how he found out it was you.

The only thing that bothers me about the RMW's head is trying to keep up with my wifes MINI in my 230 whp Jetta since she got it , and she says she gets a little hot and bothered by it when she drives her MINI now

OK, as a potential customer of a new head, I have been reading this thread with great interest. I have to be honest; the remarks made by DMH on this thread and others, really does not make me want to do business with DMH. You don't see Thumper, or M7 (Cosworth), or Webb Motorsports bad mouthing someone elses product. DMH claims they have been putting out these kind of numbers for quite a while, yet I don't see threads from people saying "hey! I just installed my Wegner Motorsports head from DMH and it delivered ***whp!!"

Now, I don't know who I'm going to go with for my head, ok, I have a pretty good idea, but DMH's threads don't want to make me rush out and buy from him.......

If I was shopping for a head, I'd get the same impression as you...

I suppose if you have a problem with customers providing feedback of your competition's obviously superior products then it's no wonder you try so hard to put off everyone on this forum; so nobody will comment on exactly how good, or bad, your products really are. Shame, shame!

I'm somehow NOT surprised to hear Don trying to steal the head design. I can only hope Don realises the severity of his actions.

The day NAM requires members to pay vender fees to openly discuss a product from an unregistered vendor is the day I leave.

Forums are for open discussion. All we're doing is making everyone aware of the route we decided to take

Not that it matters, but I don't think Jan is against paying vender fees. He's just not allowed on the forums.
