That's a good point. It would certainly be possible to get a bigger hp number by raising the redline, but you've stated from the beginning that your primary priority is useable torque. It seems you have that in spades. The hp number is great for bragging rights (a few posters in this thread are testimony to that), but I appreciate what you've accomplished in the torque arena. For the street, it's just what you were looking for.

from what i have seen... two people who have madness kits... the highest i can recall seeing is 236whp. It madnesses highest stage kit.... the member who has it posts it in his sig. I can't remember who it it.

I believe that its possible, and the reason being is that we have made 228whp. while 12hp a way sounds like quite a lot its not when you consider that we are running the borla street exhaust (which is definetly holding up the program) the Madness header (which, is okay but i would like to see a stahl or an obx) a cat is also still in place, the car is an 02 with the earlier supercharger (05 and up blowers can see about a 5% differnce in power due to the more efficent blower) the tune isn't perfect... but its pretty damn good...

so based off of that... i believe it is possible... tough... very tough... but possible. i think that is probably the ceiling for an M45, but... i think once once we develop our new cam, even more power and more torque will be made available, especially when compared to the very mild schrick "race" cam.

just my 2 cents... not that i am right about anything or everything... its just my thoughts that i am throwing out there

I think you have to take those numbers with a grain of salt.

comparing dyno numbers from different locations is pointless. heck, the calibration on a particular dyno is as important as well, not to mention weather conditions, etc.

dynos have a correction for weather... while not a perfect corrrection they do take them into account. At least as long as you are using SAE corrected values. They cannot adjust for the timing that the car is pulling however. Also, i live in AZ, the hottest state in the country. I am at the biggest disadvantage. I would love to bring the car to a nice dyno at sea level with nice cool air.

a great indicator is MPH at the drag strip... 105.5mph... do the math... car weighed about 2750 with me in it...

correction for weather....so what? Doesn't mean the numbers from one dyno are comparable even if they are the same manufacturer! Comparing two car's numbers from a Dynapack vs. a Mustang is pointless. Agreed on quarter mile times however.

Now Tuls, that was just plain not nice....

Its not that I dont want to share information, I just dont know what else to say other than everytime I get in my car, 128K miles and counting, I wear a chessy cat grin until I get out of the car.

The accleration is unbelievably strong. I am not a real tech guy when it comes to cars.

Give me some idea of what kind of information you would like to know. I will do my best to provide.....
