New Exhaust, FINAL VERSION!

Haha, yes I know, I go thru exhausts like most people go thru a Tootsie Pop.

Ok, this IS THE FINAL VERSION!

Its a 3 inch, cat-back system, aluminized tubing, slip fit connections, a Hooker Maximum Flow muffler, polyurethane exhaust hangars, and a 5" double walled polished stainless tip.

I'm very satisfied. Its rather quiet for such a large, free flowing exhaust. Around town, it makes little noise. Once you get onto the on ramp and romp on it, it sounds like the car is open header -- no joke.

Now I know everyone wont be too crazy about the 5" tip. There is a reason for it. When I bought the exhaust tubing an muffler, I could either slant cut the raw tubing and paint it, or, get the only tip that Summit had for a 3" inlet, the 5 incher.

Here are the pics....

Sound clips to come.....

So how does the butt dyno feel? I think it sounds awesome!! Comparable to a WMS or M7 exhaust in loudness.

The tip is insane, but if it's working out, definitely kudos.

Yea i'm not so sure about that tip... But I do like the exhaust note.. And that burnout was nice haha..

But I'm not hearing a turbo spool up or a BOV and I'm still hearing that supercharger whine.. So I'm assuming you haven't installed that turbo you have pics of...

Wow! I'm with RedSkunk with this one, an oval tip would fill in the cutout nicely and make it look less like the Batmobile exhaust (which as we all know, only looks right with flames shooting out). This tip: http://www.toucanindustries.com/inde...s&pos=60,15,70 is about as wide as your current one but not as tall so it wouldn't hang as low.

BTW looks like it's time to get another reverse light assembly at the dealer, if it's still in warranty.
