Well I've never been very good at making up my mind. Thats why I'm having so much trouble trying to decide on an exhaust that's right for me. I know it's all personal preference. And I know there's all kinds of information throughtout NAM on this subject - believe me I've been pouring over it endlessly! I still am not sure where to go.

Basically the system I am looking for needs to cost less than $1,000. I want it to be LOUD! Drone is not much of an issue for me, on any long trip I would have the music cranked anyway! Power is probably the #1 issue for me. Other priorities are of course sound, and fitment.

I don't want it to sound ricey in the least. Mostly just aggressive sounding. I'm not a big fan of the burble actually, but thats not a deciding factor at all.

I've been waiting for the Webb exhaust for ages. It sounds like it's the exhaust for me, but who knows when it's going to be available?
Then I was going to get the M7 system if the Webb wasn't ready in time. But then that came off the market.
So now I'm not sure where to go.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated

~Matt

Not long, I promise. Its worth the wait. The new system is on my car right now. We are making sure the muffler will hold up.

Hey Brian, we talked earlier today. If I may interject here. A MINI is a personal thing. What do you want, really want? What will you sacrifice for your ultimate motoring experience? Are you a Concourse De'Eligance or a down and dirty Autocross fan. Perhaps you are a street racer or a rally buff. The great thing about the MINI is it is a blank sheet of paper waiting for you to define who you are. The MINI is pure art.

Loud, under $1000, and you don't care about drone...

Sounds like you need a Magnaflow.

The Webb Exhaust blows the others out of the water.. Matt, if you love your MINI, and only want the best, and CAN afford it, the WMS Exhaust is the only way to go. I say do it.

I heard the WMS Exhaust when Coop de tat (sp?) had it on his ride here in Milwaukee.
He had it with the bypass closed....even then it was....LOUD.

If you can afford it...it's by far the loudest.

Matt, not sure how old you are, but I imagine that you are young.
Please understand this. Loud exhaust with drone will impair your hearing in time. I know, it sucks.
Be smart about this stuff. No one besides maybe the young kid driving likes a loud car. In time the young kid will in fact pay dearly for it.
Take it from an old man who used to be a young kid.
