bpv removal

Does anyone out there know if you have to remove your throttlebody to get the drivers side intercooler duct off when removing your bpv?

I didn't remove either to replace my BPV. Just loosening the duct was enough, it was tight though.

Why not remove it? Its only 4 10mm nuts and makes it easier to get at.

I totally agree, follow the directions word for word if you have them from Detroit Speed.

Don't risk messing something up just to save perhaps 10 minutes or so.

Just don't pull to hard on the plastic intake tube or you will break the tab off that holds it in place.
