Realistically, I doubt that WMS will come out with a CAI that adds 10 more whp over the current HDI's performance level. More likely is a 1 or 2 hp addition at the crank, which is probably not noticable at the wheels. So, in this context, what does obsolete really mean? Probably not much.

Now I'm really confused. The Webb Motorsports HDI Box and the DDMWorks Cold Air Intake look the same to me. Are they? If so, who makes it? If they are not the same, what are the differences?
Every time I think I've settled on a CAI something comes up and I start the hunt all over again
Hope I didn't start something here as I am new to this board.

From what I have read on here via a search, DDM was manufacturing the HDI for WMS. That relationship no longer exists, so DDM is selling the HDI and WMS is working on the next generation CAI.
If you follow this and are not lost by all the TLAs (Three Letter Acronyms), you are probably addicted to NAM.

Again
Shouldn't the moderator separate these two threads. It really doesn't seem fair for both WMS and DDM to be both under the same thread. I known the info is good but in fairness to both I think it should be split.
