Yeah,........

Maybe!

I'm still waiting for the new crank pulley, tb, unichip, and then the exhaust....

I'm trying to be patient as my crank pulley slips just every now and then - but I'm getting better mpg as a result!

Did my install last night; pretty painless effort. The finished look is very "clean" and the increased sound level was lower than I had anticipated. (This is a good thing.) Very pleased with the product and it performance.

Just got mine yesterday too. Install was a breeze. I'm very pleased with it. The sound is really great. I have to watch out or I'm gonna end up with another speeding ticket if I keep winding it up to redline at WOT just to hear the whine. The intake definitely drowns out the exhaust sound (Milltek) when you get up around 5k or so.

Apparently, my Mini took up smoking at some point. When I was pulling the old box out, there was a butt wedged in there! Weird.

Would some one point me to pictures of what the air filter looks like? Is it paper or foam? A cylinder or more of a cone (like the Alta). thanks

Foam , cylinder.

Pretty sure it's a Dual Layer Universal Pod but can't find a good picture of it. Tall one on the right.

I attached a pic of the filter we use in the intake, it is a dual stage foam filter that is custom made for us by UNI Filter. If you need more information on the filter, feel free to give us a call or send us an email to Info@DDMWorks.com.

Take Care,
Dave

WMS HDI
DDMWORKS HDI

Well.... I can tell you right now that the starter of the thread was the one who NAMED it the HDI among other things, and for DDM to even hijack this thread, started by WMS, to answer questions about it is just dirty.

Come on now, Dave.

We don't want no trouble.

Edited to Add: For anyone in the market for a new intake, the NEW and very IMPROVED, yet-to-be named WMS Intake will be out soon. Hold out for it. It's going to be, shall we say, Trick?

Does this mean my WMS HDI will already be obsolete? It's only 3 months old!
