Borla Agressive Installation problem

I recently installed a Borla Agressive on my '05 MCS. The rear hangers use the stock locations and stock bushings. When I installed it, the hangers hold the new exhaust system tight up against the heat shield and it buzzez and sounds horrible all of the time.

Any thoughts?

Space the hangers down from the mounts with a few washers, that should help.

I just installed the exact same system on my 04 MCS. No problems at all.
What heat shield are you having trouble with?
Make sure when installing the clamps onto the pipes to think about the direction the clamp will face when pipe is installed. You need to be able to get to the clamp bolt to tighten but also watch for clearance from clamp/bolt to heat shields. Make sure to possition all piping before tightening any clamps. I found quite a bit of movement in the pipes, both rotatinal & in/out movement. Also don't forget to check how t/pipes are centered in bumper opening.- It realy helps to have a second person & a lift as I had.-- also make sure the heat shield isn't out of possition.

Thanks

Both ideas helped considerably. I just spent $3 at the hardware store and 20 mins on my back on the cold wet garage floor (rainging and 40 in Chi town today), and all is well!! Thanks fellow motorers!!
